Pros - Historical location - Very good service and food with lots of variety - Rooms very spacious - Good location in centre of Delhi Cons - Main pool was under renovation and back up pool had small number of sunbeds - The atmosphere was a little stiff - Not great hotel to stay with a baby

I was in New Delhi for a meeting, and this was the meeting hotel. Wow. It was amazing. One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. First of all, the art work throughout would have been worth a trip to the hotel even if I wasn't staying there. Second, the rooms were magnificent. The one I was given was massive, with a bathroom almost the size of the room itself. The bed was the largest I've ever slept in. I actually couldn't figure out the lights because there were so many, so had to ask for help understanding how to turn them all on and off lol. The service was impeccable and everyone who worked there attentive and kind. I went to the gym and it was great...I was also basically alone in there too which was cool. The breakfast was just awesome. Like one of the best hotel buffets I've ever had. The meeting facilities and catering were superb, and the business center super helpful. There were several bars/pubs throughout and these too were excellent. Plus the building is historic and architecturally interesting. Its also centrally located and easy to walk from. Highly recommend.

We had an event at The Imperial, in the Lutyens Delhi for our brand. The event was flawless with impeccable service and attention to detail by each team member. There was an entire army of The Imperial team to take care of the entire event, our guests and team right from the point we started setting up for the event to the time we wrapped it up. Special thanks to the team members who were on their toes and lead the entire team… thank you Nishant, Ashutosh, Ankit, Abhishek and Chef Ankit! It was lovely to host our event at your place.
