Imperial Experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

One of the iconic hotels in Delhi, The Imperial is still one of the best choices in town with its interior design, good food and service quality. My first visit there was in 2019 and compared to that I found that room to be worn out, especially bathroom begged for urgent refurbishment. The room initially given to us was facing the street with noise so I have asked for a different one. Waiting for nearly 15 of minutes in the room for some attention, was not happy to find out that the reception was not informed of my request. Similar miscommunication also happened with invoice request, where one staff with a pleasant smile told me she would take care of everything as I wanted, and later I found that nothing was done and no one was aware of it. You may consider these to be none issues, perhaps if you are lucky to stay in a room with a renovated bathroom. Best part of the hotel for me is the iconic blue tiled breakfast room and pool is a must try!

THE BEST place to stay in Delhi

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

This is the best hotel in Delhi! I cannot say this enough ! Historic, colonial building, filled with soul in every nook and cranny, The Imperial will definitely make you feel like a Viceroy! Beautiful rooms, amazing food (Spice Route is my fav restaurant in the city, and also don’t forget to visit San Gimignano), and one of the best service in India. If you wanna relax and unwind while you’re being treated like a king, this is it. Also, they have one the best spas you’ll ever see. You have to give it a go!

Perfect stay

A perfect hotel. We had a wonderful time at The Imperial. The staff are absolutely brilliant and so helpful. The room was fantastic, afternoon tea was perfection and the breakfast is great. Couldn’t fault the place at all and I would love to come back and stay.

Best Hotel in Delhi IMO

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

1. Staff 10/10 2. Pool 10/10 3. Food 10/10 - (except for the club sandwich, didn’t really like that one) 4. Decoration 10/10 Great hotel and experience, definitely recommend visiting if you are in Delhi! However, you might end up just staying in the hotel instead of visiting the city…
