I have just completed my fourth stay at The Leela, this time for two weeks, and once again the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. The consistency of excellence and the genuinely personal service are exactly why I continue to return—and why I will most certainly be back again. What truly sets The Leela apart is the team’s ability to anticipate and care for their guests in a deeply thoughtful way. A standout moment during this stay was the team going above and beyond to organise a Holi celebration at the very last minute. Despite the short notice, it was executed seamlessly and with such warmth and cultural sensitivity that it became one of the most memorable parts of my stay. The dining experiences continue to impress on every visit. Both Spector and Divya, the Indian restaurant, were outstanding, offering exceptional quality, consistency, and attention to detail. Divya delivers authentic flavours with remarkable finesse, while Spector consistently provides a refined and thoroughly enjoyable dining experience. I would especially like to acknowledge Sophiaa, the Hotel Room Director, who once again exemplified world‑class hospitality. She went well out of her way to ensure every aspect of my stay was perfect, showing genuine care and commitment to the guest experience. Her proactive approach and personal attention make a meaningful difference and truly elevate the overall stay. Thank you to the entire Leela team for another memorable and flawless experience. After four wonderful stays, The Leela continues to feel like a home away from home—and I very much look forward to returning again soon.

Mixed Experience – Beautiful Property with Service Gaps
I recently stayed at The Leela Ambience Gurgaon for a wedding. While the property itself is high-end, my experience was a mix of appreciative interactions and significant operational lapses. The Good * Warm Planning Phase: During the weeks leading up to the stay, the Front Office Manager and events team were incredibly helpful and responsive regarding our request for interconnecting rooms for our family. * Family Accommodation: The hotel did ultimately honor the request for interconnecting rooms, which was essential for us as we were traveling with two young daughters and a nanny. The Challenges * Room Layout & Privacy: Our rooms had a very unconventional washroom design that lacked basic privacy. The main washroom and W/C doors do not lock. Furthermore, the doors and shower cubicles are translucent or transparent, which made the stay quite uncomfortable for a family and staff. * Service Coordination: Despite several preemptive efforts to ensure a smooth stay, there were some misses on housekeeping and documentation at the front desk. Final Verdict The Leela remains a beautiful destination, but the lack of coordination between departments and the specific privacy issues in these room layouts were disappointing. If you are traveling as a family, I would suggest specifically inquiring about the bathroom configuration of your assigned rooms before checking in.
