Reviews for The Leela Palace New Delhi
This hotel has some amazing chandeliers, the decor is very Indian bling and the rooms are well furnished and comfortable. Bathrooms are particularly good with good lighting and nice and warm. There were one or two glitches in the service, someone could have said that access to the French restaurant on the 10th floor was only accessible from one lift and service in the restaurant was slightly delayed because a bottle of wine had to be fetched from the bar downstairs. But the food was good and we had a comfortable night’s sleep. If we return to Delhi we would probably choose the Taj Imperial in preference but that’s because of the style.

Great service. Outstanding decoration. Very confortable room overlooking the garden. We used the 4 restaurants of the hotel. Enjoyed mostly the italian restaurant in the top floor. It was excellent in every possible aspect. Also the japanese restaurant was very good. The indian restaurant was beatifully set and even we are not lovers of spicy dishes we went there to try the indian cuisine. The chef did a great job to please our taste and we were very pleased with his advise and guidance. When we visit Delhi again this shall be our choice for accomodation. Very hard to find a better choice. I recommend the hotel and its services to any demanding traveller. A.Cerda.
We stayed 3 times in The Leela Palace this year, in March, June and October. The first and second time we enjoyed our stay so much that we thought we will definitely stay in The Leela Palace again at our next visit. The day we arrived nobody was at the entrance to welcome us (the traditional welcome which we got the last 2 times when we came). Nobody was actually at the entrance and the staff seemed very busy. The check in went okay. We got our rooms at the 5th floor but it looked like the rooms where the ones they don't use often. The shower door didn't close well. The breakfast in restaurant The Qube was ok. Babu & Puneet where very attentive and recognized us, thank you for the service. We also had lunch and dinner in this restaurant and the food was good. Overall it's a beautiful hotel and you feel like a royal when you stay here. The hotel is located in the diplomatic area so it's a little bit far from Connaught Place and other markets. Sarojini Market is near the hotel. It's sad that we experienced this in October, because we had a really good time in March and June. We hope that it will be different if we will visit this hotel again. Miss Raaghni Devie Sitaram, From The Netherlands

The Leela Palace, New Delhi sets a very high standard for service and hospitality. The staff was wonderful, helpful, courteous and most welcoming. It starts the minute you arrive at the Leela. The rooms were beautifully appointed, immaculate and such a respite for a weary travelers. The Qube Restaurant was great, very good food. The flower arrangements in the Lobby were outstanding, worth many "Instagram Photos." This was our second time to Delhi and now we have stayed at three different (3) five (5) star hotels, neither holds a candle to The Leela Palace. We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Quite simply the best hotel I have ever stayed in. I have nothing but praise for the ownership management and team. Perfect decor, service and ambience. The gym is a bit dark! Jamavar and Qube are excellent dining options.
