We arrived very early around 6:30 and were pleasantly surprised our room was almost ready! We went for their breakfast buffet and by the time we finished it was ready and we were able to check in that early. We enjoyed the spa treatments, and the afternoon coffee and pastries in the lobby with live music. Each morning at breakfast we were treated to a new Indian breakfast dish to try, along with cappuccinos, made to order omelettes and a wonderful fruit selection. All of the friendly faces at breakfast were eager to look over my plans and give me suggestions to my daily itineraries. I can't think of one thing I would change or suggest other than keep up the good work! This place is outstanding and the service is second to none.

The experience u have at the Leela Palace is truly out of this world. Its beauty, grandeur, royalty wherever u lift your eyes... the decor the paintings the artifacts.... just splendid and breath taking. The rooms are spacious and bathrooms are tastefully done. Staff is couteous and service is superb. The SPA is simply the one of the country's best. Loved it and will be visiting again.

We found the hotel and rooms to be really lovely. The service in the restaurant however was really lacking. There were 6 people (including us) in the restaurant around 9:30 p.m. and it took 10 minutes to get a glass of wine and water and about 30 minutes more to get appetizers! The wine pours were extremely small (especially considering the price). We enjoyed the breakfast buffet (good food, good quality) however the service (coffee, tea) was very average if not sub-par (waited quite a while for beverage service). Believe the staff could benefit from more training (the hotel guests would definitely benefit too). They stress hospitality -- and though the desk staff were friendly we felt the staff could have been more attentive for a 5 star hotel (especially since the hotel and restaurant were not very busy).

Without doubt Leela Palace Delhi was one of the best hotels we stayed in during our time in India! Upon arrival the staff warmly welcomed us and the check-in process was, easy, delightful, and dignified; the staff recognized whom we are and quickly learned our names. As we checked into the room we had fresh fruits on the plate welcoming us and our suite was clean, comfortable, and lavishly furnished. The next day we arranged a sight seeing tour with the hotel’s guide/driver but due to some miscommunication, the trip did not go as planned; once the transportation manager realized the mistake he refunded all of our money and assigned us a special guide/driver by the name of Mr. Shishupal who went over and beyond his duty to make sure we enjoyed our time the rest of our stay that lasted for five days. Mr. Shishupal was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and one of the best driver/guide we had while in India. Leela Palace hotel has some really great restaurants and we found ourselves dinning in three out of the five nights we stayed, we also had breakfast and lunch at the hotel daily. The hotel atmosphere was very special and felt like being home, we highly recommend it. Many thanks to the transportation manager, concierge, and all the staff that did a great job taken care of us, a truly five stars hospitality experience! Our very special thanks to Mr. Shishupal. Thank you! Basil

I have stayed in this hotel on two different occassions and the title of my rewiew was what I was thinking when I entered the first time to my room - this hotel is so much more than just 5 star! Calling it a 5* is really an insult to them, words cannot describe how beautiful everything is - the flower arrangements, the seats, cussions, tables, the rooftop pool, the garden area, not speaking of the absolutely fabulous rooms - they even have a cordless phone on both side tables next to the bed! I love their bathrooms, everything is maching, the towels are so luxiurious, as well as the bed sheets. I can say just one - I wish I could live in The Leela Palace, I did not want to leave! I hope to visit soon again and my thanks to all staff of this exceptional hotel!
