Overcrowded lobby and ill thought out layout eg where to find the lifts. Rooms are very nice with lots of modern touches but the hotel is rather soul less. Service in restaurants is slow. There are better hotels with more character in Delhi.

The Leela should not be a place to stay when you visit Delhi, it should be THE reason to visit Delhi. Oozing classic elegance and luxury this is my little piece of Heaven in Delhi. At our arrival in Delhi last week we were met at the airport by the concierge and smoothly whisked to a private car through a VIP entrance. At the hotel, we were greeted by name and led to our room even though it was 6 am and check in isn’t till 2 pm! I appreciated this the most. Check in was seamless in our room and imagine, within an hour of our arrival in Delhi we were sleeping in our room. Handwoven carpets, gleaming silver, cut glass chandeliers, gorgeous flower arrangements make me want to take off my shoes and sink into the richly upholstered sofas and partake of afternoon tea in the main lobby or the club lobby. The rooms are stylish and sophisticated, with thick carpets, antique looking furniture, modern lighting and high windows. The service across the hotel is superb, an impressive combination of polite charm and efficiency. The Reception staff is quick and responsive, the doormen, bell hops and security personnel are kind and rush to open doors and help you. There is always staff including the Management lined up at the entrance to welcome you. Housekeeping is faultless as is Room service. Breakfast at the Cube is never ending and you can ask for just about anything and they will make it for you. I love the Leela Palace,Delhi.

Arranged a Meeting for a small but a corporate group in the business center. one of the best meeting room i have ever seen in if we compare to other hotels in Delhi or Gurugram. Special thanks to Ms. Priya Nair, Ms. Deepa & Mr. Vipin for any guest related issue. Keep it up!

Being located in a quiet and green diplomatic area of New Delhi, the hotel according to many internet reviews is a best choice to enjoy life in India’s capital. We liked its sumptuous royal decor, marble finish, outdoor terraces, roof infinity pool (but do not expect gorgeous view), Spa, staff friendliness. Having been displeased with a lower floor room with obstructed view we immediately got a better option. We did not like overpriced hotel’s chauffeured car service. Just one example - clean modern taxi from hotel to airport cost us 10 times cheaper than hotel’s BMW. We booked city tour and Āgra tour through concierge, but knowledge of Russian language of two ‘Russian speaking’ guides was nearly above zero, we hardly understood what they said. The lesson - not to place such exotic requests through hotel’s concierge. Breakfasts for such grandiose venue are poor, staff at breakfast forgetful or sleepy (twice we did not get what we ordered). Being lovers of Japanese cuisine we tested the hotel’s Megu restaurant. It was also a huge disappointment - indistinct dishes, inexpressive presentation, fussy service of young yet-to-be-trained personnel.

With such good service we have become frequent visitors to this hotel on out trips to Delhi. Personalized service with understated luxury and ambiance makes all the difference. On this occasion tried their heated outdoor pool was surprised at such warm water in cold winter, was very refreshing. Do try this facility on the roof top
