The Oberoi, New Delhi

Our family of 6 (4 adults and 2 children) went to visit New Delhi and we stayed at The Oberoi. We booked two rooms - one for us (2 adults and 2 children) and one for our parents. The rooms are spacious (relative to other hotels in major cities) and have very comfortable beds. The bathrooms are large with two sinks and a large bath tub. There is also a sitting couch in the room with a very large coffee table. We all found the room as sufficient for the number of occupants. The food options are very good as well. There is buffet for breakfast with various Indian varieties. The lunch buffet was pretty good with salads, Indian curries - both veg and non-veg + there is Indo-Chinese dishes to choose from. The food itself is not too spicy as they cater to both local and international clientele. But the best part about this hotel is their service. They address each client by their name and go above and beyond to make sure that your stay is perfect. They even made custom pillows with our kids names embroidered on them which we were able to take home. That was a pleasant surprise. Overall, this is a top notch hotel with exceptional ambience and excellent service.

This property is excellent. Rooms are spacious, Staff is very attentive, courteous, willing to help at all times. From the time I arrived at the property and until I left every staff at all levels were super amazing. This is a must visit property for all who value a 5-Star experience.

Although our stay was complimentary for two nights without breakfast, the back office team graciously included breakfast, setting the tone for the generosity we experienced throughout. At check-in, Ms. Ishika from the front desk surprised us with an upgrade to the next room category, a gesture that immediately made us feel valued. Mr. Rohit from the front desk personally escorted us to our room, taking the time to explain the hotel’s features and amenities with great professionalism. His attention to detail ensured we felt comfortable and well-informed. The culinary team also played a pivotal role in making our celebration special. Chef Mr. Saurabh at 360 delighted us with his creations, while Chef Ms. Pragati Thakur went above and beyond by offering my children a complimentary baking session at the Oberoi Patisserie — an experience they will cherish forever. The housekeeping staff, especially Mr. Shekhar and Ms. Leiya, decorated our room with a birthday banner and personally brought my son’s cake to the room, creating a magical moment for him. At the pool, Harsh, Sahil, and Anuj ensured our leisure time was joyful and relaxing. The baggage staff, Yash and Aman Rautela, handled our belongings with care and efficiency. The front desk staff, including Inder, continued to provide seamless support throughout our stay. We also wish to recognize the security and greeting staff at the main gate, led by Anuj and his team, whose warm greetings made every arrival and departure feel special. Duty Managers Avni and Varun were consistently attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was flawless. Every single gesture — from the thoughtful room decorations to the personalized experiences — reflected not just professionalism but genuine care. Your team made us feel like family, and my son’s birthday was celebrated in a way that exceeded all expectations.
