The Oberoi, New Delhi

I travel a lot and have stayed at many excellent hotels around the world, but there is something very special about the hospitality at The Oberoi. I have stayed with The Oberoi Group in Chandigarh, Gurgaon and Mumbai over the past three years, and every experience seems to get better and better. What stood out to me most during this stay were all the little things. The housekeeping staff even tied and organized all my wires! They celebrated my birthday with flowers and cake, and the car service even took me for street-food chai and parantha, which I absolutely loved. I really enjoyed the morning yoga with yoga teacher - such a great class. I also loved the sound healing space and the incredible gong they have there, which was especially meaningful to me as I have been playing the gong myself for many years. The spa was amazing, and I loved the gym. The trainer took the time to show me the weights and explain everything, which I really appreciated. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, I loved the Residents’ Lounge and the food there, and the live music in the evenings was such a nice touch. My room was beautiful and incredibly comfortable. Loved the bathtub, the very fancy toilet (!), the minibar and the Forest Essentials amenities. But really, what makes The Oberoi different is the lovely staff. There is such kindness, attention to detail and respect for guests throughout the entire hotel. It doesn't feel like it comes from one person or one department - everyone seems to contribute to the experience. I think I have officially reached the point where if I am travelling somewhere in India and there is an Oberoi, I know where I am staying. Thank you for another beautiful stay. Exceptional from welcome to departure. oh yes and the food at the Oberoi - wow.. so delicious.. loved the breakfast buffets !!

I recently stayed at this hotel in New Delhi for a one-week business trip, and I was extremely happy with my experience. The staff were professional, friendly, and always willing to help. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout my stay. The hotel's location was very convenient for business meetings and very close to the airport. The breakfast offered a great variety of options, and the overall service exceeded my expectations. After a busy day of work, it was always a pleasure to return to such a welcoming and comfortable environment. I would highly recommend this hotel to both business and leisure travelers visiting New Delhi, and I would gladly stay here again on my next trip.

The hotel enjoys a remarkable location, perfectly positioned for discovering Delhi’s major sights while also being very close to Khan Market, one of the city’s most enjoyable addresses for shopping and spending some time away from the bustle of the capital. The dining experience is equally impressive. We had the opportunity to enjoy both breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and the quality was consistently excellent. The rooms are particularly spacious and beautifully appointed, the lobby is elegant and welcoming, and throughout the hotel there is a genuine sense of refinement. Above all, the service is outstanding: attentive, gracious and remarkably professional. Having visited Delhi many times and experienced several of the city’s leading luxury hotels, I can say without hesitation that The Oberoi, New Delhi remains, in my view, the finest hotel in the capital. Whether travelling for leisure or for business, it offers an exceptional combination of location, comfort, gastronomy and, most importantly, service. The Oberoi Group represents Indian luxury hospitality at its very best. Travelling through India through the eyes of Oberoi is a very special experience, one in which elegance, generosity and an extraordinary attention to detail are present at every stage of the journey.
