An oasis of calm in the very busy city. We stayed for one night at the start of our holiday and also for our last night. We stayed at several Oberoi hotels on our previous trip to India and selected this one based on our excellent experiences on that occasion. Thankfully the friendly, helpful staff were able to live up to our memories. Each Oberoi we have been to has been very different in design and feel but the service is wonderfully consistent. Our rooms on both nights were spotless and bright. We dined at Dhilli on our first night and had a very nice meal served by Abi who was really friendly and very helpful. On our last night we dined at 360 which is a huge restaurant with a truly global menu. The Japanese food was delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal . Bobby was our server and he was good fun as well as being very attentive. The highlight of both our stays was the spa. We booked a treatment on arrival and each had a simply perfect massage. Ajung and Sonla were our therapists and they were exceptional. We booked treatments in advance for our next stay and requested the same therapists as we were so pleased with our first treatments. On our second visit Ajung remembered the breathing exercise we had done the week before and added a new variation to it. The treatments lived up to our lofty expectations! Outstanding! As our stays were so brief we did not get a chance to use the full facilities of the hotel but hopefully there’ll be a next time.

Front desk experience, room, cleanliness l, hygiene, food, people of the hotel - they are as hospitable as it gets. While they have increased their rates post refurbishment, it’s totally worth it. They have a strong loyalty program and you get a free night after a certain stays in other properties. This stay was an earned reward based on previous stays. Most hotels and airlines give the reward based rooms or seats a last priority however The Oberoi was prompt in confirming it.

The more we say about the hotel, the less it is. Not only this time the hotel was fantastic, it is almost always at its best. Most of us generally write a constructive feedback only but in their case, there is never a chance:). We would love to keep coming back to the hotel, whenever possible.

My husband and I are huge Oberoi fans so much so that we spend around 50 nights a year holidaying at their international and Indian properties. We had the pleasure of staying at Oberoi New Delhi for our third time in September, and will be returning in spring when we will also stay at Oberoi Mumbai and the new wildlife resort, Oberoi Vindyavilas. Oberoi New Delhi is THE most perfect city hotel. It has a fabulous contemporary and happening vibe at the same time as offering peace and tranquility in guest rooms, the spa and by the outdoor pool. As well as being a hive of activity from a business perspective, it offers much to leisure travellers, such as ourselves, and hence why we love to return. Indeed, no trip to India would be complete without spending at least three nights at Oberoi New Delhi. The rooms and suites are fabulous and contain every amenity one could wish for. The contemporary grounds, gardens and pool area are stunning and so quiet and extensive it’s easy to forget you’re located in a major city. The gym and spa are excellent and spa treatments are among the best we’ve experienced anywhere. Dining options at the hotel are world class. Dhilli, in particular, was our favourite on this occasion. The tasting menu created by Chef Roy and his team was superb and the wine and service complemented perfectly. Dinner at Baoshuan was likewise excellent and Restaurant 360° remains the centre of the universe for constant activity and people watching in New Delhi. It’s literally buzzing throughout the day and night, and the breakfast experience is a particular highlight whenever we stay. No holiday at Oberoi New Delhi would be complete without pre / post dinner drinks at the alfresco bird’s eye Cirrus 9 where service is always excellent even when it’s busy. We also tried the Patisserie and Resident Lounge, on this occasion, and both were very good. The absolute stand-out at all Oberoi properties is the people and our experience at Oberoi New Delhi was superb. Led by the very visible GM, Abhishek, and his deputy, Ibrahim, every single person we interacted with embodied the Oberoi ethos of ‘the guest is everything’. The warmth, professionalism and intuitive service at Oberoi hotels is quite literally THE best in the world and it’s for this reason we build our holidays around where they’re situated. It came as absolutely no surprise to us that Oberoi Hotels was judged to be the ‘Best Hotel Group in the World’ at the Telegraph Travel Awards 2025. Nor that Oberoi New Delhi was judged to be ‘India’s Leading Luxury Hotel 2025’ by the World Travel Awards. We absolutely love every one of the twelve properties we’ve holidayed at and strongly recommend you don’t hesitate to book because you’re certain to have a fabulous stay.

Beautiful hotel . Convenient location , about 20 minutes from the airport . The staff were wonderful throughout the hotel with perfect service levels . I ate in the Chinese restaurant which was really good and used the gym ( a bit on the small side ) with good equipment . The Cigar lounge was very nice and the bedrooms excellent and meticulously serviced in the mornings and evenings. Will definitely stay again . An Oasis from the hustle and bustle of Delhi.
