The Oberoi, New Delhi

We have stayed here several times pre-Covid. They have not missed a beat. Immaculately clean, beginning with the lobby and public areas and the rooms are spotless. The furniture in the rooms and restaurants always appear to be brand new, never a scratch. The attention to detail is fantastic. The staff are always happy and welcoming and above all smart! They know the property and what the guests needs are about. The breakfast buffet is off charts delicious and the other meals were excellent. Downstairs a fantastic French pastry shop and very nice shops. Mr. Rathore please never leave here!!!!!!!!

I stayed here for three nights and had a wonderful experience. All aspects of my stay were perfect. I received a warm welcome during checking in, and the formalities were done very promptly. We were then escorted to our wonderful Oberoi Suite facing the Delhi Golf Course. The room was very tastefully designed, and I found the room to be quite airy, particularly due to the two large windows looking into the plush greens outside. I believe the golf course view is a better option to choose as one gets the perception of being in a place outside of Delhi while looking out the windows. The food throughout our stay was exquisite. We had a wonderful dinner at the Oriental restaurant ‘Baoshuan’. I really liked their menu and found the food to be scrumptious. We had in-room dining the other two nights and the experiences on both occasions were very good. The IRD menu also seemed to spoil us for choice. The breakfasts every morning were the usual sitting Oberoi breakfast, which I believe is the benchmark in India. The service lived up to the lofty expectations I now have from Oberoi hospitality. All our needs were well catered to, and I could feel the touches of the warm Oberoi hospitality from every small gesture of the staff. Finally, coming to the property itself, it was absolutely stunning. The entire place had been renovated a few years ago, and it is now a state-of-the-art luxury oasis within Delhi. Some nice touches like the incredible health facility with the heated indoor pool and the clean air circulation within the hotel were greatly appreciated. In my opinion, this property stands out among the other premium properties, within the larger vicinity and price range, with its incredible hospitality and elevated guest experience.

The hospitality here is beyond exceptional — warm, intuitive, and consistently thoughtful. Every staff member makes you feel like the most IMPORTANT guest, and their courtesy, respect, and attention to detail are unmatched anywhere else. A very special mention to General Manager Mr. Abhishek Panshikar, whose graciousness and professional excellence set the tone for the entire hotel. He personally ensured that everything about our stay was flawless. He checked on us regularly, followed up regarding our beautifully upgraded suite, and made sure our breakfasts, lunches, and dinners were perfect. His commitment to guest satisfaction is extraordinary. The Front Office team — Ashutosh, Mehir, Ritika, Avni, Twinkle, and Shruti — made every interaction warm and efficient. They were always ready with a smile and handled every request instantly. Housekeeping staff Ashutosh and Sahil kept our suite spotless and added thoughtful touches every day. Dining at 360° Restaurant was a highlight of our trip. Sarthak, Ayush, Rajbir, and Amit offered impeccable service throughout. The chefs are incredibly talented — we truly enjoyed the amazing breakfast (especially the signature baked yoghurt), the beautifully prepared risotto, and the delicious desserts. Every meal was memorable. We stayed at The Oberoi New Delhi several times during our long India journey, and each visit reaffirmed that this hotel is in a league of its own. Every single person we interacted with was outstanding, warm, and professional. If you want a luxurious stay with world-class service and the most caring staff, The Oberoi New Delhi is absolutely unbeatable.

Outstanding hotel which sets the standard for 5 star hotels in India. You can't go wrong booking this hotel. Both the food and service are outstanding. The extensive workout center hours, indoor lap pool, extensive buffet and onsite bakery make for one of the best places in India.

A superb hotel with fabulous, helpful staff. The food was excellent as were the facilities. The pool is beautiful and bedrooms very comfortable. Staff make you feel at home.
