Reviews for Omni Mount Washington Resort

Lacking a little attention

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

My husband and I spent two nights here last weekend. As most of you know who stay at Omni resorts, they are known for their beauty and elegance, which this place had both. However, I cannot give it a 5 star rating. We arrived on Sunday afternoon and were surprised and appreciative to be upgraded to the Presidential Suite. On the way to the suite, I noticed a band aid on the floor. The band aid was still in the same spot on Tuesday when we checked out. The one elevator down to the Presidential suite had dirt/dust all over the floor the entire time we were there. Our room was beautiful and clean (no more turn down service) and our meals were excellent. The staff was very helpful, but these two items bothered us. It seemed to lack the attention it used to get. Perhaps lack of staff? I don’t know, but I am sure others noticed these two things, including the Omni staff. I would stay here again but just can’t rate it 5 stars.

Beautiful but not worth the money

The room was lovely and very comfy. We had breakfast @ Stickney. Not so nice. We paid 57.00 dollars for my husbands breakfast which was two eggs over medium they were runny, toast was cold. I had eggs Benedict and was egg was done perfect the other was over cooked the Canadian bacon was so thin it looked like a scab. Had coffee and server never came around for refills. A little disappointing!

Dissapointed

Location and venue 5 star but we were at a function and they ran out of food $100 a plate. No apologies. Unacceptable and disappointing for a resort with its reputation and caliber. I guess this is buyer beware

Be careful which website, Omni bait and switches me with Priceline.

Be careful where you book the reservation. Bait and switch with Priceline. I was on a website that looked like Omni Hotels, in fact was Priceline. Since it ended up being Priceline, the hotel could not change my dates of the visit, and Priceline would not let me change it. I had paid for 2 nights, when I had an emergency come up and was unable to go, I was out of luck. Frustrating that the website was not Omni, will be much more careful in the future, and be sure I am never using Priceline again. And since Omni refused to help me, will never stay at an Omni again. Recently retired, traveling much more, there are many other hotel chains that are more accommodating.

Great Couples Getaway

This is a beautiful resort with an amazing history. The views from this location are stunning as you look at Mt Washington and the Presidential Range. We've eaten here many times but this was our first stay. Overall we had a wonderful time. I would say we were a bit disappointed with a few things on our stay. First off, for such a beautiful resort you'd think they would offer a better vegetarian selection. They offer no plant based proteins that most nice resorts now offer. In fact, they own a "pub" down the road that offers plant based protein options, but not here. Second, they had one of their main restaurants closed the entire week. They never mentioned this when we booked. Being such a remote location, this is a big deal. Pretty disappointing when you consider the cost to stay at this location.
