There for Us When We Needed It Most
As locals, my wife and I have always held a special place in our hearts for the Hotel Monteleone. Nine years ago, we welcomed our wedding guests here and celebrated one of the happiest times of our lives within these walls. We never imagined the hotel would one day be there for us in one of our hardest. Recently, a fire broke out in the unit above our condo on Chartres Street, and the water damage below left our home unlivable. In that moment of uncertainty, Caleb Chaffin and Travis went above and beyond to secure a room for us while we searched for temporary housing. Being able to stay just steps from our home made it possible for us to meet with the restoration company and our insurance adjusters, and it gave us a sense of comfort and stability when we needed it most. Caleb and Travis are true assets to your hotel, and the entire staff showed us the same warmth and care we have always known from the Monteleone. I am fortunate to work for a compassionate leader in Ralph Brennan, and it is clear your team is led with that same heart. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

Clean room and friendly staff, but plenty of issues
Clean room. Great staff. I had multiple large issues with my room: the tv did not work at all (no signal), the air conditioner would not turn off so the room was freezing cold, and the upgraded internet which I paid additional for per night was utterly useless from my hotel room, so I had to use my cell network instead. Also, no free water bottles in my hotel room which is unheard of these days, and the sink water wasn’t great so I had to buy it separately which is never convenient. Lastly, the room was comically small…easily the smallest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in; My dorm room in college was more spacious.

I loved everything about this hotel from the people who worked there to the atmosphere also in the middle of all the great restaurants and bars
