We had a wonderful experience with all of our family and friends for a wedding party. Service was excellent and management of the water boil very efficient in a week with freezing temperatures and many transportation and service delays and closures. They handled it very well.

My husband and I were in town for a wedding. The Hotel Monteleone was in a great location. We were able to walk to the many highlights of the city and get a good night's rest in the comfy beds. We had a great getaway! We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is beautiful and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful from the front desk, to the doormen, to the concierge. We did eat breakfast two days while staying there and the food was excellent. I thought their beignets were better than Café du Monde's. We arrived on a Wednesday, went to the carousel bar when it opened at 11 am and our group of 10 women were able to be seated. However, every day after that the bar was packed and we were thankful we went that first day to have the experience. If you need assistance with transportation, the doormen were very informative and gave us great recommendations for who to call. You are close enough in the French Qtr to walk to just about everything (Bourbon Street, shops, Café du Monde, St. Louis Cathedral, etc.) The streetcars are close enough to walk to also. My only reason for a 4 star rating instead of 5 is the bathrooms in the traditional double rooms. We had 10 ladies, some rooms had 3 ladies and the bathrooms in the room type mentioned above only have a one sink vanity. That was challenging for ladies in the mornings trying to get ready. We had to get creative. Thank goodness for the mirror and desk outside of the bathroom.

Very nice and clean hotel. Great location, walking distance to everything you want to do on Bourbon street or in the French Quarter. Don't forget to order room service for an unforgettable romantic memory, their food and service will make you question why all of your daily meals weren't ordered from your room.

The hotel could use some remodeling. Our guest room was a bit outdated and the bathroom was very small. But the bed was comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room taxes are steep. The $286/night ends up being $330.
