If you want to be in the French Quarter and experience a lovely historic hotel, consider this spot. We had a comfortable, quiet room and enjoyed the ambience of the hotel. We did meet family for drinks at the carousel bar one evening and that was challenging as the noise level was so high. But, we could step away and sit in the lobby with our drinks and chat.

This is one of my FAVORITE spots to stay! Beautiful, full of history and a perfect location to be right in the French Quarter. Staff was super helpful and also gave us great recommendations on restaurants, music and fun. Always an AMAZING stay.

What’s positive: Great location for visiting French Quarter, everything in close walking distance, wonderful history, friendly and helpful staff, roof top pool and fitness room with excellent views. What’s negative: Rooms on the smaller side, do not offer queen size beds or roll aways, lobby can be overwhelmed with tourists visiting bar. On balance a positive experience but I would look for a different hotel if traveling with teens and everyone is staying in the same room.

The hotel is lovely and the room was very comfortable and quiet. I had some issues trying to recover a phone charger I left in my room - b/c I had already checked out, staff wouldn't accompany me to go check for a charger I left in the room. I was told housekeeping didn't find it, but I suspect that's because it had fallen behind a bed-side table. As of the time of this writing, I haven't heard that they located it.
