I'm usually a Motel 6/Super 8 kind of gal. This hotel was part of a tour I was on. WoW! Was I ever impressed. It's beautiful. Instant response by staff to any need. Room was great. I'll say bathroom was a bit small, no space for toiletries. We managed just fine. Safe in room, bathrobes in room. Delightful. Beautiful. Roof top pool, I didn't use it. The location in the French Quarter is excellent. Super groups perform in the lounge every night. I never did get a seat at the carousel bar, but the drinks and music are the same elsewhere in the lounge, so doesn't matter.

My husband and I spent 4 wonderful nights in the Hotel Monteleone. This hotel is located very close to Bourbon Street in the heart of the French Quarter. There was no need to have a car while we were here. We walked to every attraction, restaurant and music venue we wanted to go to. We were very close to Canal Street and were able to catch the St. Charles Greenline to the Garden District. Great staff warmly greeted you and assisted you with whatever questions you might have. I would return here in the future.

This hotel is in a great location and relies on its historical status to attract visitors. It has a beautiful lobby, and help galore. Unfortunately, the rooms don't match the rest. Our room was small, but the real problem was the bathroom. It was tiny, and I know for sure that many of the overweight residents of New Orleans would not have been able to go through the door or to fit in the shower. At least, we were on a top floor, so we did not hear any noise, but another visitor told us she had not been able to sleep because of the noise coming from the street. Fortunately, the bed was super comfortable, but as a whole, we were disappointed and would not return.

Convenient location in French Quarter with comfortable clean room and spectacular river and city views. We splurged on a suite due to our five day stay and it was perfect. Housekeeping was tops. Carousel bar means the lobby is a bit of a tourist attraction, so we didn't spend much time there.

Great French Quarter location with updated and tasteful room rooms. Traditional and elegant lobby where the guests enjoy lounging.Very lively bar scene at night in the Carousel Bar that totally fits with the atmosphere of the Quarter. Well trained and friendly staff.
