Very nice property with old-world charm. Excellent, if crowded, rooftop pool. Ditto with the Carousel Bar--nice but packed. The worst thing about it was the wifi connection--or lack thereof--at the business center which made it basically unusable, though the wifi was great in the rooms and meeting areas. Super friendly staff--from those at the check-in desk, to the valets, concierge and cleaning folks. They were helpful and kind. The hotel is situated a block from Bourbon Street so close enough to the noise and crowds, while still far away enough for it not to be overwhelming.

Amazing stay. The Carousel Bar is a fun, historic experience. Conveniently located for walking all the French Quarter attractions. A luxury escape from the liveliness of NOLA.

The Hotel Monteleone is a historic charming hotel that exudes the atmosphere and culture of this unique city. It is located in the heart of the French Quarter yet rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and quiet. We were able to walk all over the central area of New Orleans, which made it a very convenient location as well. All of the staff that we encountered were very helpful, professional, and friendly. The literary and historical displays throughout the lobby area were of great interest to both my daughter and me . The Service and food were terrific. We also enjoyed the pool and the lounge area with its dynamic, live music. We had dinner at Criollo one of the best restaurants we went to in New Orleans. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a true New Orleans experience.

Khiya knew just what to say to my little one who was living her best life at the pool! All our thanks to this destination hotel!

I was over-charged for parking. The parking fee was for each overnight and I was charged for each time I took my car out during the day. My stay was for 3 overnights and I had 5 parking charges. I was requested to pay $1.25/each for additional coffee pods. The bathroom door would not latch.
