Beautiful hotel. Standard rooms are on the small size. TV sound was bad. Hotel restaurant (and we only ate breakfast there) was pretty pricey..as an example, $25 for 2 orders of toast. If you and your wife just get a 'regular' brekfast with coffee, expect to pay over $50, not including tip.

Hotel Monteleone is a classic choice in the French Quarter, offering historic charm, elegant rooms, and the kind of southern hospitality that makes you feel instantly at home. Big shoutout to Housekeeping: you are wonderful! And the restaurant — a culinary experience that rivals the best in the city. Every dish is thoughtfully prepared, full of flavor and finesse, from breakfast to dinner, the food was OUTSTANDING. Service elevates the meal even further: Prem, our waiter, was extraordinary — attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm and friendly. His guidance, recommendations, and personal touch made the dinner not just a meal, but a memorable experience. For anyone visiting New Orleans, the Hotel Monteleone restaurant is not to be missed, and Prem’s service is truly some of the best you’ll encounter anywhere in the city.

This hotel is simply gorgeous. Lovely lobby to sit on comfortable sofas and read or people watch . Mr room was spacious and well furnished, the bed was so comfortable as were the pillows. The motion lights were a bit strange at first, kept coming on during the night , but on the other side of the bed to where I was sleeping. Ample water and coffee supplied and the bath products were divine

Grande dame hotel in the very heart of the Quarter with lovely, friendly staff. Great access to some of the best restaurants in Nola.

This hotel is beautiful. Even fresh roses in the lobby. A luxurious experience and the customer service exceeded my expectations by a long shot. I felt both safe and spoiled!
