Khiya knew just what to say to my little one who was living her best life at the pool! All our thanks to this destination hotel!

I was over-charged for parking. The parking fee was for each overnight and I was charged for each time I took my car out during the day. My stay was for 3 overnights and I had 5 parking charges. I was requested to pay $1.25/each for additional coffee pods. The bathroom door would not latch.

The Hotel Monteleone is a beautiful, historic hotel perfectly located for sightseeing. We found all we wanted to see was within walking distance, including fantastic restaurants. The staff is wonderful and took such good care of us. Our room was newly remodeled and comfortable and the housekeeping staff was superb. The concierge was knowledgeable and helped us make the most of our time by booking tours and providing recommendations. The Carousel Bar is lively and not to be missed!

Overpriced, dirty, and rude staff avoid Paid a premium for three nights and got a run-down room with a side of contempt. We arrived during the French Quarter Festival a major annual event the hotel knew was happening to find every street to the property closed. Spent over an hour driving in circles until a police officer helped us through. No heads-up from the hotel, no guidance for guests using valet. Front desk shrugged and offered two drink vouchers. The room was worse: peeling wallpaper in multiple spots, long hairs in the bathroom, and dried snot on the shower curtain (photos attached). I called to report it and was told they'd "already given me drink vouchers" and I "should be happy with what I got." I never cared about the drinks I wanted a clean room. When I asked to speak to a manager, the front desk blocked the escalation. Overcharged, wrong room, filthy bathroom, rude staff. There are far better places in the Quarter for the money. Stay anywhere else.

Best location on Royal, convenient and safe walking distance to dining, shopping, and entertainment in the French Quarter. A very well maintained older luxury hotel with a well-trained, service oriented staff from top to bottom.
