We have been staying at the Monte Leone for the past 20 years. It's like visiting family. It's conveniently located, the staff is knowledgeable about New Orleans. And the restaurant has great food and service. When we visit we try not to stay anywhere else. Oh yeah, the chocolate martinis are decadent!

This place was full of Patriot fans. It's location was perfect for walking around the French Quarter and to the Superdome. Awesome restaurants and night clubs with Bourbon St only a few blocks away. Went to several top restaurants close by: Galiatories, Trinity, Stanley, Coop's, Mr. B's and finally Emeril's. Walked a few blocks to listen to Jazz, Blues and Rock bands a few of the nights.

Historic, yes. Location, incredible. Service, exceptional. Quaint, no (600 rooms is not 'quaint'). Peaceful, no way. Value for money, no. Honestly, incredible hotel but if you're landing here on a game weekend and there just happens to be 3 conferences taking place, be prepared for chaos. If partying is your thing, book the Monteleone. If you want peace and quiet, go elsewhere.

I love this hotel and all that it entails. If I can get a good deal on a room I always stay here. The location is amazing. The bath tub with the jets is awesome. So is the stand up shower. The bed is very comfortable too.

We came here for the Patriots/Saints game and loved it. Very centrally located to a lot of attractions. We very rarely had to Uber because we could walk everywhere. The room was wonderful and the air conditioning was so cold it was so amazing to come back to a cold room on a very, very hot day. The room service was ok: I got the Po Boy and my husband got the burger. He loved the burger however I did not enjoy my sandwich. I wound up getting another one at a local place a few blocks away that was far superior. The staff were very friendly.
