Great hotel

The Monteleone was everything that we heard it would be! Very classy, clean and safe hotel that is in the heart of the French Quarter. It had everything we wanted and we will definitely be back!

An iconic hotel perfect for a honeymoon or anniversary!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

This hotel is iconic and we could not wait to stay here on our first trip to New Orleans! We had booked through Expedia, and our plane had gotten laid over in another state the first night we were supposed to be staying. Despite calling and letting them know the situation, they marked me as a “no show” in the system and could not find my reservation upon arrival. It took them quite a while to find it and I was about to blow a gasket, but they did end up finding it and getting us checked in without any further problems. (It is worth noting that I had all of my proofs of purchase, reservation/trip itinerary numbers, etc. and it was still like it had completely disappeared from their system once they marked me as a “no show.”) After the initial frustration at check-in, the rest of our stay was fantastic. The river-front suite we stayed in had a bedroom, a living room, and 2 bathrooms! The master bath was fabulous. It had a beautiful tub and separate shower and gold fixtures. Everything was very clean, and the maids organized all of my skin care products, which I thought was a funny, nice touch. We asked for lots of coffee, which they accommodated every time, and the room service was also fabulous. We did not get to see or use the pool, unfortunately, but we did get to sit at the Carousel Bar, and there was also a cute gift shop inside. We loved the view from our room, overlooking the city and river. I especially loved sitting at the desk in the living room to do my makeup. Looking out over the city from that view point was like looking out over the city of Paris, and this was my absolute favorite part of the stay. The lighting was perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back! I would book directly through the hotel next time to avoid the confusion we experienced this time.

Great stay and great wedding reception venue

Stayed two nights for a wedding weekend that was held at the hotel. It was my first time staying in this hotel, as we are locals. It is very beautiful. Friendly employees who want to help make your vacation elevated.

Fabulous Wedding Stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

Wonderful stay for a wedding at St. Louis Cathedral. Location is fabulous. Within walking distance of great restaurants, bars and shopping. This is the quietest hotel that I have ever stayed in. Did not hear doors slamming or any noise from nearby rooms. Michael Weir, our bellman the day we left was the epitome of southern hospitality. He is a an amazing asset for the hotel. Be sure and say “hello” to him.

Great wedding weekend

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

We spent the long weekend four our son’s wedding. The venue, planning and execution were exquisite. The accommodations were just what we were looking for. The ability for valet to handle the volume of guests at checkout was very disappointing. The valet staff worked hard however there needs to be a systematic overhaul because many hotel guests waited two to two and a half hours to get there cars back at checkout.
