My husband and I stayed in the Monteleone for the second time and it is by far the best hotel we have stayed in including all the other big hotels in the French Quarter. We honeymooned in New Orleans in 1974 and have made many many trips over the years. We are an older couple and wanted to go one more time at least. So glad we stayed in this hotel. From the minute we pulled up in our car and were greeted by Blue to the time Zachary picked up our bags and took us to our car, the service was excellent! The housekeeping staff is unbelievably good. Most days our room was serviced twice with fresh everything. Our robes an slippers were laid out in the evening, bed turned back, chocolate was left, ice in the ice bucket and one day they even left a cloth to wipe your computer screen or glasses. The valet service was a little overwhelmed on Sunday when we checked out and we had a wait, but it certainly did not detract from our amazing stay.

From the location to the entire experience staying here, I could not think of a better place to stay when visiting New Orleans.

Have been here many times, on business and for pleasure. Beautiful historic hotel in wonderful location. When you enter the beautiful lobby, you see elegance, note the clock; restaurants very nice atmosphere and excellent food, roof top has incredible view and facilities , be sure to visit the rotating bar on the first floor. Staff are professional, friendly, well-trained, well informed and welcoming. Concierge is very good. This is a cashless hotel, so be ready for that.

Great location and atmosphere. We were in walking distance of everything we wanted to do, and this made our anniversary a memorable one!
