I didn't stay in the hotel but I was told I need to visit the Carousel Bar. It was a great place for at least 3 spins. Generally the bar is filled but people seem to move fairly quickly in order for you to sit there. I had a mimosa, great conversation with people watched the Saints win the Redskins and moved on.

Booked the hotel and then had to call and revise the booking. Arrived to find that the dates were never revised and I got stuck paying for a day that I was in another country. The rooms are small and the street is loud so get a high room.

Great smart Hotel in the heart of the French Quarter in New Orleans. Very nice and comfortable rooms, excellent service. Carousel Lounge and Criollo Restaurant inside. Hotel suggested for business or romantic purposes; less suggested for family trips.

This hotel is indeed a gem steeped in historical moments. From the rotating Carousal Bar to the beautifully decorated rooms, this place is a must stay. Excellent and friendly staff, very clean, and spacious lobby to lounge in. Great rooftop pool and gym. My only qualm was that the prices were inconsistent in the bar as well as with the room service.

We stayed here for 5 nights. Nice hotel, the water pressure is great, the house keeping is good. We wish the mattresses are firmer and they have bigger pillows. The breakfast at Crioillo was good, but service is slow.
