Unique experience right in the action. Feels like you're a local and unique experience. Private, quiet and modern simplicity.

Upon arrival we noticed that one of the large windows in our room had a sheer curtain but no shade (it was leaning up against the wall). We notified the front desk that afternoon but noone came. The brightness of the room all night was like daylight. I photographed the situation with no flash and presented it to the front desk the next morning. The clerk said she would credit me 25%, however she charged me an additional 25% instead. I contacted her the next day which she said it would be corrected by the manager. I have emailed the manager twice and also asked to speak to him the day I called the hotel to correct the situation. I still have not heard from him, nor had the charge reversed on my credit card. I would never stay at this hotel again, nor recommend it.

No view, and treated like you are the poor relative, put in the back house away from the main house , you have to go across the street to get any service , the valet is nice if you have the time to stand and wait

Loved our stay, very artsy vibe to the place and great location. The main hotel to check in was right around the corner so we were able to walk to check in and then walk right over to the loft we were staying in. Much more relaxed and fit our energy than a large hotel.

I wanted to like this property; the checkin was seamless (if around the corner from the actual property) and quite friendly. The room is laid out nicely and looks great in photos. Sadly, there are some problems: as others have noted the lighting is ridiculously dim - totally inadequate. And ironically the curtains are not dim enough - basically letting in full daylight at dawn. The location is great with nice places to eat and drink within a block, but it's also one of the noisiest places I've ever stayed - those nice antique windows do not keep any noise out. The room was also plagued by a toilet that wouldn't stop running on its own (had to jiggle the handle) . Overall a very nice room that suffers from basic usability and convenience isses.
