I got a great deal on this room, which is the only reason I booked it. The bellmen and valets were amazing. This review mainly focuses on the room, so here it goes... The room was nice and clean. The bed was average as were the linens. The worst part was the pillows. Three of them stacked deflated to one. Thank goodness my wife and I take our own self-care products. The shampoo and soap smelled like bug spray. Without the staff this would easily be a two and one-half star hotel.

New Orleans and The Ritz makes a perfect combination. I was visiting for the Alabama & Clemson game and they had a great setup in the downstairs bar with multiple TV's setup to view the game. The staff was extremely helpful and dealt with the craziness of game day quite well. The rooms were clean the decorations for the holidays were still up and quite interesting. They had gumbo in the main atrium available for hotel guests to sample. The Ritz makes hosts a great experience in New Orleans. The only complaint I have is $15 for 6 wings in the bar. The rooms will have street noise (as all hotels in the French quarter have) so be sure to use that knowledge to select a room that is higher up or on the opposite side of the quarter, or possibly one facing towards the courtyard if possible.

My husband and I are celebrating our 9 year wedding anniversary and we are so happy to be spending it at the Ritz in New Orleans. The service is superb and has gone beyond our expectations. Upon check in my husband was disappointed to have missed the complimentary gumbo (delay in flight) and casually mentioned it to the front desk. To his delight they sent us both gumbo beautifully presented with all the fixings. We are having an amazing time. Thank you!!!!

We had a great stay and customer service was wonderful especially Nick at the valet giving us all kinds of transportation options. Club level staffs were excellent. Club lounge location is little confused but provide great food and services. I ended up got an accessible room with a small tub but is fine since I prefer double beds. Overall we had a great stay at this location. I do compare this New Orleans with other Ritz locations so I have one small issues- when I called before my trip, trying to get Saints tickets- was told someone will call me back but no one called back.

Stayed in a 4 days getaway in New Orleans. Chose the premium hotel in the location - couldn’t go wrong in a Ritz! I’ve stayed in several locations in the US, Europe and Asia at the Ritz... but in New Orleans, two main busters - (1) bathroom was dirty - bathtubs are not working properly I guess and when I went for a shower, got a lot of hair from the previous guests, just disgusting. (2) service in breakfast was poor - just took to long, when asking for anything, and things run out at the buffet and no one care to replace it for more - for a 75 dolars ler couple, too expensive for what it was. Bed was good and rooms are spacious, that was a plus. At the end of the day, paying an average of USD400 per night in New Orleans, it would have to be way better than this!
