Just came back from a lovely stay here. We were granted early check in- around 11AM with a ready room. We had a pretty quiet room that overlooked the courtyard and pool. The room was more spacious than I anticipated from the photos. Loved the layout and never felt unsafe. Enjoyed time at the pool although the wait for a drink was pretty impossible. Enjoyed hanging out at the courtyard in the evening as well. Breakfast at 3rd Depot was just “just okay” but the drink pours were very heavy handed. Very central location for walking around. Also never noticed any rift raft or homeless hanging around either. Overall, enjoyed our stay and if coming back to New Orleans, I’d look into staying here again.

They will over book your hotel and not give you your money back. Mangement will not return calls to help solve your problem. I get the feeling they don't really care about what kind of stay you will or will not have here. You can do better getting a hotel somewhere else.

I stay at W’s worldwide, but some are better than others. I have stayed at the W in the French Quarter on several occasions. Today I’m writing to give a positive shoutout to the staff, from the front desk, to the restaurant, and to the valet and cleaning staff during my current visit. In particular, I would like to recognize the manager, Leslie. Leslie took initiative on an issue that was not even brought to her attention, making our stay even better. I value when staff and management go the extra mile to make things better for the customer. If you want a great location, great service and a taste of the NOLA, give the W a try.

I read a few bad reviews about this hotel but went for it anyway. My experience was nothing but pleasant. Clean rooms, staff was amazing a very helpful. And the manager even gave us free valet parking. Latoya at the front desk is a BOSS. She handled mine and others customers needs attentively, with great patience, hospitality, and professionalism. The 3rd block restaurant offered great food with awesome service. Beautiful courtyard and an easy walk to everything. Great stay. Would definitely recommend The W to all fellow travelers. Can’t wait to come back for another stay!

It’s my first time in NOLA and I’m staying at the W New Orleans with my family. The hotel staff are so nice and informative. Latoya C. delved into the history of NOLA and she also suggested the best places to be! My family and I are having a great experience here!
