We checked into this supposed best hotel in New Orleans on December 13th. We selected an executive room which is the most expensive accommodation on offer. I was horrified to find that the bathroom basin had a huge ten inch crack right across it and this unsightly gash clearly attracts germs..I have been obliged to restrict washing to the shower and the spa rather than risk infection. I reported this issue as soon as I moved in and was sent a card saying management will “follow through” on problem. They have failed to do so. I am checking out tomorrow and will not return.

We were here for 5 nights and got a great suite which has ample space. Service, cleanliness and just the overall experience was wonderful. It is a bit date and snooty in terms of the rooms and decor. They need to do some updating. The internet connection is also not the best. But overall, the pluses outweigh the minuses. Would highly recommend.

We stayed for 5 nights in December. Recommended to us by frequent guests. Hotel was built in 1984, modern (and not particularly pretty) to the exterior but quite classically styled inside with some interesting artwork and a general 'Windsor UK' feel. A 'city' location set amongst other high-rise buildings/hotels. Just off Canal Street and within easy walking distance of many local attractions. Check in was smooth and attentive. We had a Premium suite which was spacious and comfortable. Good dressing area, complimentary Wi-Fi, evening turn-down service and bottled water. Balcony (we had a city view - choose a river view if preferred). Room was well maintained and bed particularly comfortable. From what we could tell, all windows were only single-glazed which at the time of our visit (a very cold snap) meant there was a chill factor and even though we were on the 14th floor, there was limited sound insulation. Breakfast was included - to $30pp. Menu was a la carte (better that they simply include breakfast rather than selecting individual items to 'spend' your allowance). Food was OK to good, but service really slow. We had lunch on day one which took over 2 hours; allow one hour for breakfast. Concierge service was excellent - thank you Noel. We visited the bar once, which was fine, but didn't otherwise use any hotel facilities, e.g. pool or fitness suite. General service was OK rather than classy - it was an effort to negotiate a slight extension to our check out time - and the final bill was wrong and could have been handled better. If you're looking for a decent hotel in a good location then the Windsor Court could be for you. We had a pleasant experience - but we felt the hotel missed the quality and sharpness of service we've experienced in other luxury hotels, e.g. Copacabana Palace, Hermitage, Reids etc.

My husband and I stayed at the Windsor Court for our "babymoon" in December. We stayed in a Premium Suite which was very well appointed and spacious. The bed was very comfortable, and we had a nice view of the courtyard below. I will note that the plumbing leaves a little to be desired as the water takes quite a while to drain and pressure can be a bit wonky, but otherwise no issues with the room and cleanliness. Housekeeping was efficient and unobtrusive, and the turndown service was a nice touch. The concierge and front desk staff went above and beyond to help make our stay as comfortable as possible, including having distilled water on hand for medical devices, which was a very nice and thoughtful service so we didn't have to immediately traipse out to a drugstore. We enjoyed the Polo Lounge and breakfast in the Grill Room as well. The Hotel was beautifully decorated for the season and we had a very relaxed time.

Okay, the place is great, staff is friendly and helpful, and it’s in a really good location. What I don’t like: parking is $44 plus tax a night. Outrageous!!!!! The other reason I gave a 3 is that every time I was in the shower, the water would literally stop when, I assume, a toilet was flushed. Need to resolve that. But if you don’t mind throwing money away to park your car, go ahead. Now I also realize that many other hotels in the area charge for parking, but if people don’t say anything then how can it change. To me this is just a money making scam. It’s like when hotels used to charge you to use the phone in your room. Should be part of the room charge.
