Windsor Court Hotel is an old world, beautiful and elegant hotel. The room is very spacious and the bathroom sitting area is wonderful. Windsor Court Hotel has a beautiful entry and sits in the heart of the French Quarters.

A very nice hotel in a good location. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. The hotel’s decor is more than a bit dated throughout with ornate furniture, art and furniture. Same applies to the room furniture which seems to be getting a bit threadbare, especially the sofa cushions, upholstery and carpeting. Bathroom also should be updated as the sink, tub, tiles and wallpaper were well worn, scratched and all seem to be nearing the end of their service life. Hotel appears very clean and staff are helpful. WiFi was complimentary but very poor. The Wi-Fi signal was so weak in our guest room it was impossible to even check email.

We just returned after spending 6 nights at the Windsor Court. It is positioned perfectly between the Quarter and the Garden District and easily walkable to some great restaurants and bars. The hotel staff was great, with positive can-do attitudes. From the nice concierge who helped loan me some packing tape and scissors to the bartender in the Polo Bar and Alyx in the club who each made us their version of the perfect Sazerac. The reason why I am giving 4 stars is that our room itself was rather tired. I am the first to admit I am a little picky, but I hate to see grout missing in the tubs, shower curtains that don't work so water goes all over the place, no towel/bathrobe hooks (found it on last day behind door that stayed open all week), stains on the walls, tired and dated furniture. Housekeeping was unpredictable. At check-in we were asked which of two time windows we would prefer them to come to the room, and they never were there at that time. One tip--get a balcony. Our friends who were also there had balconies in their rooms and it was nice to open the door to outside. For the room category we had, it was interesting why we didn't have one. Another tip--there is a dress code in the Club level. A couple of times we felt out of place by coming in casually dressed and my husband had on flip-flops. When we saw the dress code we left before being asked to. For the business traveler this is a great hotel, lots of leather, brass lamps, and English charm--think Anglophile. For those who want fabulous design and luxurious amenities, maybe not so great--think Francophile.

Great location near French Quarter. This hotel always excels in service. Very good restaurant. Concierge desk very helpful. Beautiful rooms. Smaller than some of the larger properties in NOLA, but far and way the Best hotel in Town.....very good value for the price.

We stayed at a suite and could not have had better service from the minute we came onto the property until the minute we left. Kuddos to the front desk, the concierge and bar and restaurant staffs who made us feel at home for 3 nights. The suite was large and well appointed. The second floor bar and restaurants were elegant and relaxing to enjoy time inside. The location outside of the main tourist area made this very enjoyable. Finally, we spied the filming of NCIS New Orleans on site during our visit and chatted with the actors and actresses. The Windsor will always be our favorite NOLA destination as its close to the business district, courthouse, and convention hotels and exudes great charm and service that make it a special place to stay.
