A few blocks away from the hustle and bustle of the French Quarter provided much relief on a business/family trip. The hotel is well maintained, beautifully decorated and the staff is friendly and helpful. We stayed in a suite with two double beds with our 2 kids, who opted to sleep on a roll away bed and couch. Everyone had their own space and there was plenty of room to spread out. The bathroom was in need of a little attention, but overall we were really pleased with our stay. The kids enjoyed the beautiful heated pool while I got a chance to relax in the sun. We will be back for sure.

Starting planning this trip a few months ago for my husband's 50th Birthday Surprise this past weekend. The hotel was very accomodating in getting the rooms overlooking the river and getting the Club Access (which we weren't even sure we could get until check-in). Lobby, restaurants, gym, Polo Louge, Club Lounge were are nicely laid out and well kept up. Employees of the Club Lounge---especially Kim and Paul- always had a welcoming smile on their faces , ready to answer any questions. Buffet was always kept full and fresh looking, no matter what time of day. Location is perfect for getting around. Bourbon Street is a short walk as is the WW II Museum, which is rated Number 2 in the country- a must see , especially after the Bourbon Street experience. Restaurants abound and every place we went had excellent food and friendly service. Prices didn't seem unreasonable either for the drinks in most of the bars. Uber made getting around the city a breeze if you didn't want to walk. Rooms were huge- opted for a Deluxe Suite, which had ample room, living room, bar, separate bedroom. Beds, as mentioned in many reviews, are like dreams and the pillows are clouds that rest your head just right. It's tough for me to fall asleep and I don't believe I was awake by the time I counted to 20! Amazing nights of sleeps, especially with the distant sound of the ships horns on the river. Only minor complaint would that our room 1403 could use some updating. Sink was chipped , nightstand had multiple gouges where the alarmclock was sitting, and lamp shades had several rips and tears on the. Carpeting and other furniture was well kept and clean. Housekeeping came in once a day and freshened it up beautifully. Nice soap products replenished daily. Didn't get to have the Tea Service though it looked phenomenal. Have to say I am returning to the Windsor the next trip to New Orleans and staying even longer.

We have visited and reviewed the hotel before. Always has been a favorite. This year we were there for a small group meeting. The rooms and desk staff were terrific. The catering staff and food was terrible. I had to ask the cocktail staff to circulate with appetizers rather than talk to each other. Had to tell the waiters to pick up the dirty dishes, please offer wine and ask if anyone would like coffee...and by the way, please pick up the dirty dishes. The beef in the buffet was dry and over cooked. The luncheons were nothing special. Really disappointed. Great rooms. Now fix the catering.

This is a most elegant hotel I. A quiet area. It was loud after the Rex Parade as the band's finished nearby, but, hey, it was Mardi Gras. The staff oozed with customer service and plesantness. So glad I finally got to check off another bucket list item.

Really cool hotel with fantastic service and incredible rooms. Location is quiet, yet convenient. Everything felt personal and easy. They just take care of you, and make you feel welcome at every turn. A really great stay.
