Great hotel in an old world style; gracious and subdued settings for the common areas and rooms. Efficient and courteous staff, great food. The location, outside of the French Quarter provides a calm island from the bustle, but is only a few minute stroll away and eliminates the traffic issues.

We have stayed at many luxury hotels...In NOLA and around the country and abroad. I'd say this is the best you're going to get in NOLA. Everything is clean, quiet, staff is very attentive. The bar has soft live jazz for evenings and during happy hour. Great food and great service for the money. A lot of the luxury hotels in this city are good but kind of dirty...I know...there are a lot of people coming to this vibrant city and it's a lot to keep up with.....However, Windsor Court holds it's standards higher than the rest. When you've been down Bourbon Street and you've had enough of the Party life. This is the place to go to recharge. I'll be back!

Arrived after a very long flight and was told check in was 4:00 ....I had asked expressly for early check in....we were staying on the concierge level waited almost three hours before our room was ready....the high tea was very poor with dried out sandwiches and very mediocre cookies...we finally get to our room and the complimentary wifi would not work ...I talked to a tech person for over a half hour trying to get wifi...all in all a place I would never stay again...the staff were very pleasant...also very big hard pillows.

Las week i took the family for a short spring break in NOLA. We have been to New Orleans about 3 times in the last year. I have stayed at several hotels including the Ritz Carlton (Which I reviewed previously). While I would till rank the Ritz as the best name brand luxury hotel with a fabulous club level, the The Windsor Court is just below, but more importantly, at about half the price. If you have an affiliations with Club Corp., they have outstanding rates at the Windsor. I stayed over St. Patrick's weekend in a Club level suite and it was less than half the cost of the Ritz. What i was really pleased about was the club. First of all the people they have were friendly and knowledgeable, as well as able to get reservations at the best restaurants. But the food service and cocktails/wines, all included in the club level were excellent. The Ritz had a bit more selection, and a better set of desert offerings, but at less than half the price...this was a great deal is a truly world class hotel. For the price of a nice room at Marriott, Westin, etc., you could be in a club level room at the Windsor Court. If you have not tried the Windsor and are staying in NOLA, I suggest you give it a try, and make sure you get access to the club.
