I was certainly well-pleased with the commodious and comfortable accommodation: - parquet-floored entrance hall and bar; - carpeted living room with a flatscreen TV, 3-seater sofa, four armchairs, coffee and dining tables, and desk; - large, carpeted bedroom with king-size bed and divan, - with an marble-floored extension for a dressing table and wardrobe; - a generously-sized bathroom; - and a balcony. The decor is an English theme: paintings of naval battles in the age of sail, horse races, KIng George V and Queen Mary, etc. The pictures bore looking at and suited my personal preference for representative art over the more usual characterless, decorative designer hangings. Free Wi-Fi for five devices. Separate aircon/heating controls in the bedroom and living room. Responsive, effective. Vents well-situated in relation to the bed and desk so that there were no uncomfortable draughts. Laundry was stated as needing to be collected before 7am. Not certain of meeting that deadline next morning, I had my laundry collected at 5pm the day before. Was surprised to get it back about 9pm the same evening without an “express’ charge. The Grill Room did an excellent “lunch plate” — essentially four soup-bowl-size courses served together. I had a filling gumbo (sort of beef stew with rice); crawfish pasta, crab cake, and cauliflower with chilli flakes. Also good a la carte breakfasts. They were amenable to substituting fruit for potatoes to let me cut down on carbs. Antonia’s cheery personality brightened the dining room. The attractive Cafe Anglais in bright pastels provided a very decent takeaway cafe latte and fruit salad. There was just one limo in the hotel courtyard. Which I took to the airport. Chauffeured by the personable Ed Bolds. There wasn’t at the Windsor Court the queue of metered cabs outside the JW Marriott or Sheraton two streets and five minutes away. Check-in is a late-ish 4pm. So, after 27 hours on three flights, I wasn't lucky enough to get my room right away when I got in at about 1:40pm. But then I would have had the usual room service rather than the pleasure of lunch in the Grill Room.

Wow. This hotel blew me away. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left this hotel did everything right. The check-in was flawless and the room was gorgeous! Amazing everything. Comfy robes, soft sheets, lots of towels. Gorgeous bar and sitting area. I loved my room SO much. Delicious drinks at the bar and the gym and pool were beautiful too. Turn down service each night and water left with pralines. I have already booked my return visit, this time for pleasure. I travel all the time and have never had a better hotel experience.

First of all, this place is fantastic. Absolutely beautiful common areas that are classy but not stuffy. Very nice pool area as well. I was here for a week, half business and half vacation. I was in a suite which was very large. While comfortable, like a previous reviewer noted, there are some small signs of aging: a stain on carpet; chipped sink, but nothing terrible. I asked for a refrigerator and was provided one. I was disappointed in a few housekeeping details and shared this with the manager and the last cleaning I had was a good one. Be careful if you are here for longer than a few days - I was missed more than once and had to call for assistance. This is probably why I can't give this property 5 stars. Maybe I'm pickier than some... Breakfast in the dining room was the best meal I had here. Excellent. I had a meal in the bar area and then lunch in the dining room and was disappointed. Again, I shared my input with the manager immediately and it was corrected. Room service was good and quick. Little shop in lobby was good. Location is great and close to a lot of things. Just around the corner is a PJs which is like a Starbucks. Good muffins too. Across the street at Harrah's is a Fuddrucker's and McAlister's if you are looking for a quick and cheap bite. Not far from French Quarter, but if you aren't up for the walk, grab a pedicab at Harrah's to take you. If it's raining, you can borrow an umbrella. Spa is highly rated, but I didn't have any services. They were booked. Dressing area is on the small side. If I am back in the area, I would return.

We just loved to service, style and comfort at Windsor Court! Lots of thoughtful details and beautiful accents. We had a suite with a balcony and enjoyed the space. Pralines at turn-down were a delight for my daughter. She also love little Anglais, the pastry and coffee shop downstairs. Weekends are,a treat with live jazz and high tea. Location is great, quiet and classy with restaurants nearby. Walked to French Quarter with ease. Would love tp stsy again!

This hotel is a beautiful place within walking distance of the Convention Center and the French Quarter. But not in the center of either. It is pricey, but without being pretentious. The entire staff is friendly to a fault and very accommodating. Our suite was both comfortable and well maintained. We had absolutely no complaints. Expect to pay premium prices in the restaurants and lounges. But,as stated, that is expected in this class of hotel. We will return here next time we are in the area.
