I personally don't think the hotel is as luxurious as other reviewers claim. The hotel is kind of stuck in the late eighties , all very nice but not exactly up to the minute. From what I saw of other hotels in the area , none of them are exactly state of the art ! The staff however are excellent , nothing is too much trouble and they made the stay a fantastic experience.

We recently spent five nights at the lovely property, which I had gotten on Hotwire. Reception was wonderful and we were able to pay for an upgrade to the Club level, which is certainly worth it. Our suite was large and very comfortable and like the rest of the hotel had excellent air-conditioning. Housekeeping worked hard to keep it clean and fresh. The bonus of the club level is the club lounge, which serves an expanded breakfast (no eggs, except hard boiled), afternoon tea , hors d'oeuvres and an open bar. They also have two incredible concierges, Josie and Paul, who provide information and enthusiasm about their beloved city. Josie, in particular is such an asset to this property. Rarely does one find such positivity, knowledge and warmth. She will answer any question and go to great lengths to make sure that you find any venues you are requesting, particularly musical ones. We ate one night at Le Crillon, which is the high end restaurant. The pricing was good, as New Orleans was offering their version of Toronto's "Summerlicious". We had three courses for $39.00. Unfortunately, our waiter here was not a fit for this hotel. His endless, negative stories about his own personal travels intruded on an otherwise lovely experience. On our last day, I had lunch at Polo, where Jason and two other gentlemen, one a food and beverage manager, entertained and served me while I had lunch. Jason even packed up my left-overs for me. I love this hotel and would love to go back soon. What an incredible staff!

My wife and I wanted to get away for the weekend. We decided to try the Windsor Court. We were pleased with the find. We watched fireworks over the river from our balcony as well as sat in the lobby and enjoyed drinks and live music. They even gave little teddy bears to us to bring back to our boys. Facility, staff, and atmosphere was everything we had hoped and expect at such a highly rated hotel. We hope to be back.

When you pull in to this gorgeous hotel in New Orleans it looks so fancy and lush with the most beautiful flower arrangement in the lobby I have ever seen. People who bend over back to make you comfortable happy and feel like you were really staying in a 5 star resort. Spa was great, food options abundant and beds and linens were heavenly. I was touring colleges with my daughter and didn't want to leave. Wish I had more time there. It's not a cool young fun hip place it's like a fancy place where I felt funny wearing cut off jeAn shorts although they never made me feel uncomfortable it was me. Can't recommend this hotel enough and it was very reasonably priced as well.

We visited on an of season, not very busy night. The amazing staff upgraded our room to a suite without us asking and we were so amazed by the level of luxury that we opened the door to. From robes to slippers to even a private balcony. I can't get over this hotel. It is off the beaten path which I prefer, but I don't mind to walk. The view from our room was heaven.
