Reviews for Windsor Court Hotel
I wanted to get away for a quick trip with wife as had rough couple of months with work and Birthday was few days away. Opted for a 5 star experience and got it with this hotel. NOLA is a special city for me and this hotel really made it that much nicer. This is a World Class 5 star hotel, so if on a budget, keep looking. You will get what you pay for however. Upon check in staff and bell hop all were very nice. I think within 3 minutes of walking into room, Bell Man arrived with luggage. We stayed in room 2010 which is a premium suite and paid for club level. I have some pictures attached of room. It has a balcony and that high up had a great view of the city. (apparently odd # rooms face river and also great views there). Our Bed had Plenty of pillows, bed slept great, Room stayed cool with AC. Suite is 800 square feet but felt larger. Room had small bar area as walked in with Keurig Coffee maker, nice sitting area with couch and chairs. Bathroom was great along with separate vanity area. club level access was GREAT. There are some balconies there facing both city and river to walk out on. The Concierge in there was VERY nice, went out her way to help, tips for dining, anything to make stay better and she did! There Breakfast in morning was nice Continental. Enough to get you started. They then do a "High Tea", Cocktail hour after that and desserts in evening. Yes, Drinks available during all of those (top shelf) and included in price. There was not your average snacks, Wow, the fresh seafood, salads, sandwiches, etc. if you left hungry from any of these, thats your fault. There pool is Temp controlled year around and looked great, just did not get to utilize. This hotel is short walk into Quarter, Directly next door to Harrah's casino. I wish could do this type of travel all the time, 5 Star treatment will spoil you, hard to go any other way after this. Kind of like going from First class to Coach when flying, just not the same. Some day I hope to return here, and was a great couple of nights. I recommend this hotel highly.!!!

Great hotel in an old world style; gracious and subdued settings for the common areas and rooms. Efficient and courteous staff, great food. The location, outside of the French Quarter provides a calm island from the bustle, but is only a few minute stroll away and eliminates the traffic issues.

We have stayed at many luxury hotels...In NOLA and around the country and abroad. I'd say this is the best you're going to get in NOLA. Everything is clean, quiet, staff is very attentive. The bar has soft live jazz for evenings and during happy hour. Great food and great service for the money. A lot of the luxury hotels in this city are good but kind of dirty...I know...there are a lot of people coming to this vibrant city and it's a lot to keep up with.....However, Windsor Court holds it's standards higher than the rest. When you've been down Bourbon Street and you've had enough of the Party life. This is the place to go to recharge. I'll be back!

Arrived after a very long flight and was told check in was 4:00 ....I had asked expressly for early check in....we were staying on the concierge level waited almost three hours before our room was ready....the high tea was very poor with dried out sandwiches and very mediocre cookies...we finally get to our room and the complimentary wifi would not work ...I talked to a tech person for over a half hour trying to get wifi...all in all a place I would never stay again...the staff were very pleasant...also very big hard pillows.
