I was here for business, but this hotel was perfectly located for me - walking distance to both the convention center and he French quarter without being overly close or far from either. The service here was impeccable. The actual hotel was beautiful but dated - which is def their vibe and overall feel. I mean the Vacuums looked like they could have been from 1980 -- we joked that we felt like we were in the original Ghostbusters movie lol The rooms were incredibly spacious with balconies and more then enough space for our belongings. Like most hotels, food items were incredibly overpriced, but they did offer a decent happy hour. Overall it was a great stay and the service really did stand out during our trip!

On my first trip to New Orleans I am very happy we stayed here! The staff was very helpful and polite throughout our stay. Ken the bartender made us some amazing drinks each night before we headed out to dinner. He also was very knowledgeable about different things to see and do around the city. Although we did not get a chance to swim in the pool ( it was overcast and raining) it did look very clean and refreshing. I was impressed with the gym located next to the pool. They have a variety of cardio and weight training equipment as well as towels fruit and water you can use/take. The hotel was also within walking distance of many other bars and restaurants famous in the area. And yet it's far enough away that you won't be bothered by the busy sounds of the city when you're sleeping.

I booked a four night stay for my son and me in a premium suite. The property has old world charm and is beautifully laid out and furnished. The suite was spacious with two balconies, a bar area and lovely powder room leading to the bathroom. The TVs were modern and functioned well. I wish the channel choice was a little greater. Bathroom was upscale as you would expect, with shower-tub combination and toilet together in an albeit large enough space. The front desk and door/valet staff were fabulous..friendly, welcoming and genuine without being over the top. We felt valued, my big birthday was kindly acknowledged and I felt I could ask for anything. The housekeeping lacked a little nuance. Delicious little treats were left the first two nights at turndown but then not again (including turndown). Maybe it's hotel policy to welcome you this way for a night or two. When we arrived the bathroom was not clean. There were long hairs both in the tub and bathroom floor. I felt the housekeepers did not pay enough attention to the way we liked things (maybe unrealistic to expect). The housekeeper had a good idea of keeping my son's toothbrush and toothpaste in one of the drinking glasses. She never left an extra though and despite my call to housekeeping the additional glass did not arrive (I use it regularly). None of these were a big deal. The location is about a half mile from Cafe Beignet/du Monde and the heart of the French Quarter. If you are walkers, it's perfect. If not, it's an inexpensive Uber. Windsor Court is a delight and we loved being here.

Quite frankly, the style, elegance and atmosphere of the Windsor Court Hotel can not be beat. There are hotels as good but very few that are better. The mechanical detail and comfort of our room was amazing. I would be glad to live hear year around if I could afford it. It would be paradise.

The whole suite was exceptionally clean. Huge shower, large tv, nice sitting area, nice view of the city. And the bed was super soft! One of the comfiest I've slept in at a hotel, it was like sleeping on a cloud.
