Holiday Stay in New Orleans

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

We have stayed at the Windsor Court hotel several times before. It is a wonderful hotel; staff is very friendly and attentive. The hotel is very well maintained from the grounds to the common areas to the rooms. It is especially delightful at the holidays-it is decorated with exquisitely. I would recommend the Windsor court to anyone - it is the nicest hotel in New Orleans.

Go-to luxury hotel in New Orleans!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

My wife and I spent several days recently in New Orleans for a family wedding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Windsor Court. Our room was large and luxurious, well appointed, and very comfortable. We had several meals at the hotel which were all outstanding. Everyone on the staff was professional, courteous, and friendly. The hotel is centrally located in proximity to many of New Orleans wonderful features. We cannot wait to return!

Great option if outdoor pool is wanted

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

Having just stayed in 12 luxury hotels (Bel Air, Peninsula Beverly Hills, Four Seasons Palm beach, Faena Miami beach, Waldorf Astoria Park city, W Aspen, St. Regis San Francisco, Waldorf Astoria Vegas, etc) around the USA, I have a fresh feel to review these hotels with great comparisons. This hotel delivered great value for the money. They have a great pool area, which is rare in New Orleans. The location is right in city centre, everything important is with in walking distance. The staff was also extremely helpful and kind, especially at the front desk. The hotel is a bit old on the design, but thats the look they strive for so no issue there. The only major downside was the breakfast. The breakfast room was half empty and we had maybe 4 parties in the line before us, but it took almost 40 minutes to get seated. I can only imagine how long it would take if the breakfast was actually almost full. The feeling at the brekafast brought a strong flashback to the scene in the movie Borat, when he visited the christian family and their friends at their house in some southern state. The design and guests look exactly the same. The food at the breakfast was ok, not bad, not special. The other issue was that there was a cup full of molding cigarettes on the balcony. Seemed like nobody had cleaned the balcony at all before us. I also believe the balconies are not for smoking… If visiting New Orleans again, I would probably stay at the Four Seasons if available, if not, this is likely the second best option, especially if you want an outdoor pool.

We recently stayed at the Windsor I would highly recommend. The Windsor Court made our trip. It is the perfect location way from all the noise, but close enough to walk. The hotel is beautiful, the service is outstanding. I cant wait to visit Nola again just to stay at the Windsor!

The place to stay in NOLA

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

We were in New Orleans for a wedding. Although the wedding ceremony was at the Four Seasons, we chose to stay at Windsor Court based on several recommendations. We are so glad we did. The property, the staff and the service were all outstanding! Every single person across the board was courteous and went out of their way to be helpful. The location is quiet while being very conveniently close to all of the places we needed to visit.
