Probably the worst thing that ever happened to me at a hotel. I checked into my room earlier this afternoon and went straight to a business meeting. Came back a few hours later, stood in front of the elevator and couldn’t remember my room number. I asked the receptionist if he could help me out, explaining I literally can’t remember my room number and passed him my room card. He didn’t even welcomed, just asked in a very aggressive tone to show my ID. I explained that it is still in my luggage in the room and said „but I believe there is another way to identify myself“ (name, date of birth, address, length of stay or using a credit card with my name on it etc). All he said: „of course there is a solution“ and went to call the security. Shameful and disgusting behaviour. Luckily there was another receptionist who helped me without hesitation. The rude receptionist kept harassing me, when asked what his name was he wouldn’t disclose it. He kept intimidating me with his behaviour and wouldn’t let me just be whilst I waited for my new key card, luckily other people arrived and help distract his attention away from me. I felt threatened and shocked. This hasn’t happened to me in my life. When I asked the younger, and very helpful receptionist who that is he said „this is my manager“. I feel literally unsafe. All I did wrong was to have forgotten my room number after being completely jetlagged and overworked. Last stay ever at this hotel.

We stayed here as a family of 4 for the week. We picked this hotel as the rooms were big & had a kitchenette plus it was a central location for what we wanted to see while in NYC. The subway is straight opposite & there are lots of places to eat nearby. The hotel is beautiful & the staff were very friendly, we felt like valued guests. We had a suite with separate bedroom & it was huge. There were a few niggles hence the 4 stars. The main issue was our room (6th floor) faced onto Lexington which was very busy & noisy with traffic & sirens all night every night so we didn't sleep well at all. Plus the sofa bed wasn't made up on arrival & we had to ask twice & wait around 45 minutes for this to be done which was annoying given we'd had a long day travelling from the UK & we were tired as it was late. There were only enough plates, cups etc for 2 people on arrival, not 4 as stated, small niggle but the basics to get right as we did make use of the kitchenette for breakfast.

This hotel was a diamond we found almost by accident. This boutique hotel is 5 star. The staff are very professional and friendly. The rooms are large for NYC. The security is excellent as is the location.

Just stayed 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. Booked a 1 bedroom with separate living room on the 15th floor and everything was near perfect. Quiet, very clean, excellent air conditioning, amazing housekeeping, front desk and bellmen. Great decor and ambience-- rooms are nicely sized and the bathrooms (while small) are nicely appointed with beautiful tile, marble and shower/faucets. Highly recommend!

Pretty nice hotel. Loved the decor - modern and cool. The in-room Keurig and mini fridge were great. Loved the robes. The shower was nice but wish the bathroom had more counter space/shelves or hooks to hang a towel. Not enough room for our stuff. The bellmen were great and even gave us umbrellas for the day when it rained. Wish we'd had a better view as our room looked at the hotel air conditioner. Would stay again.

My stay was amazing. The only problem was with the room phones. I could not get them to work.

The hotel is in an excellent location, and the staff are extremely friendly and willing to assist with anything during your stay. They sent us a treat with a balloon and a handwritten note when they learned we were celebrating our anniversary. The rooms are very comfortable, renovated, and notably larger than many hotels in the city. I would definitely stay there again on a future visit.
