Spent 4 days here over the DCAT event and used the hotel to host meetings. Not a smart choice...started business meetings at 0800 but breakfast didn’t start until 0730 so had to leave the hotel and grab breakfast elsewhere. Frankly astonished that hotel doesn’t start breakfast earlier in support of its business guests. Many people in the same boat milling round the lobby waiting for breakfast to start. The National restaurant/bar attached to the hotel is decidedly average and hugely overpriced...really just a money making exercise. The hotel staff were ok...front desk weren’t the sharpest tools in the box. The lady servicing the room every day was head and shoulders above the front of house...actually effective and efficient. Won’t be a hotel I’d choose to return to on business unless no other options present. My usual 48Lex is a much preferred option...different class. Tip - go high...outside road noise coupled to lousy windows makes the lower floor rooms very noisy.

This has always been my hotel of choice in NYC. I especially appreciate the level of service and cleanliness about the Benjamin. It all starts at curb side from the bellmen into the front desk upon check-in up to the impeccably clean room and well thought out floor plan. I have recommended this location to many people and all have shared my thoughts. Oh yeah the National is also something to visit. always a great meal there.

The Benjamin is a fantastic hotel in Midtown Manhattan. Six of us recently stayed, ages 14 to 70. We all had a wonderful time due to the hotel staff, facilities and location. The staff are incredible - the kind, efficient front desk staff, the behind the scenes team, the general manager. Every member of the hotel staff we met went beyond expectation. I honestly did not want to leave! This is my new favorite place to stay in NYC. Can't wait for our next visit.

Stayed in a suite overnight. Very nice hotel. Great location. The staff very pleasant and helpful. Great diner a couple of doors down on 50th. Also, a coffee shop and small convenience store on 50th street as well. I stayed there last year for St. Patrick's Day and came back again this year.

Everything was perfect ... We arrived earlier due to an earlier landing of our plane and our suites were available. Very friendly welcome, efficient service.... The suite was large with a nice terrace overlooking New York. The restaurant downstairs was a very nice experience as well... A special mention to the concierge who arranged several bookings of restaurants for us and to the bellman, always courteous and helpful. Needless to say that the location of this hotel is ideal...
