We have used this hotel twice for business trips. What you don't get is a huge lobby and bar like the corporate chains. However you do get 1) a great restaurant and bar, 2) great staff 3) a flexible a personalised service one great example of this is the fact we had a suite and used it for an all day meeting, I asked concierge if I could plug my lap top into the tv for our meeting the response was the maintenance guy coming to the room and making this happen and even setting up up the screen resolution. Thanks a lot we will be back I just wish they had a loyalty scheme

The Bellmen Johnathan and Elias were very helpful, giving us great insight as to what was close by to the hotel. I appreciate their assistance and they helped to make our stay a very enjoyable one. The hotel was very comfortable and we will definitely be back! Love that area near Rockefeller Center.

The three of us checked in at the Benjamin on a Saturday afternoon. We had booked a queen suite with and Jennifer at the Front Desk upgraded us to a king suite w/balcony... with a smile. It was a great start! Since that room was not quite ready, we decided to wait at the bar of The National. Russ took care of us and was very professional, yet friendly. José took over his shift and recommended us a couple great places to go out on the town. When we came back to the hotel later that night, we decided to go back to the bar and Mark was working at the bar. Mark was especially entertaining and was a great conversationalist. He was attentive, professional yet friendly and personable. He recommended us a couple dishes which were delicious. I was glad to finally try Geoffrey Zachariah's menu! The rest of the stay was great. We enjoyed the extras of the room: king bed (we had to share instead of the queen), the balcony (we took many fun photos) and the sofa bed. Everything was clean and in good shape. We strongly recommend also because it was close to subway and line E that took us directly to the World Trade Center the next day. Although it was a short stay, we truly enjoyed our time at the Benjamin.

Had a pleasant four-night stay at the Benjamin while I was in NYC for a training class. Excellent location near restaurants and other local necessaries. Staff very friendly and accommodating. All services and equipment in good working order. Very good value for the money. Very much worth booking!

I recently had a getaway at The Benjamin and couldn't be more pleased with the staff, location and charm of this hotel. Caroline at check in was bubbly, pleasant and efficient. I was able to check in a little early which was a great convenience with my schedule. I encountered all three ladies at Concierge throughout my stay (Sarah, Anya and Gina) and they were all super helpful with restaurant suggestions and directions; I knew I could count on them and especially enjoyed the Greenwich village walking tips Sarah gave me. I'll definitely return and recommend to others!
