We are never disappointed when we stay at the Benjamin. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Rooms are incredible and the location is superb. Would recommend this Hotel to anyone who is looking to stay in mid-town. You won't be disappointed.

I used to stay at the Benjamin quite often in the earlier 2000s and held in high regard, and then returned this past week with my wife. While the staff at check-in is incredibly warm, their housekeeping colleagues let them down on execution. Our first room had broken pretzel crumbs on floors, smudged finger prints on bathroom doors and just looked like it needed a really good deep cleaning. We asked to have housekeeping back in. The reception desk was profusely apologetic and called the director of housekeeping as we spoke. We then left for three hours, and nothing had been done. The friendly folks at front desk apologized, upgraded us and moved rooms. Second room wasn't much better, but no pretzel crumbs. after seeing two rooms and the smudged elevator panels, it seems to be a property-wide problem. On the positive; great midtown location, friendly staff, and great adjoining restaurant.

Room was okay. Paid more for upper floor. Preordered cheese tray and strawberry tray....showed up minutes before leaving for dinner. Ants in kitchen coupled with refrigerator pouring water on floor. Been in thr hotel business for years and recommend staff take guest etiquette 101. Concierge attempted show tickets for $268 per person and I got them online in 5 mins for half that. Caroline at the front desk was nice. Will not come back.

Once again time after time my stay at The Benjamin is always a pleasure.. From the greeting at the front door as a warm hello and welcome back is voiced To that of being met at the front desk with a warm welcome... Staying here for several years, I have had the pleasure of being helped by Khady, she has consistently been an outstanding example of what customer service represents . All of my accommodations are handled upon arrival without even asking ,she treats her clients as if they are family, presenting the comforts of home even when you are away on business. All the best to The Benjamin for keeping a wonderful staff and a comforting home away from home...

We loved our stay at The Benjamin. The staff was wonderful, the King Suite was perfect for a family of four and the location was fabulous, plus the subway entrance was across the street. The Benjamin is a home run and I will definitely make this hotel my home base for future trips. Ask about the specials for Suites, it's totally worth it!
