the hotel is great, but I would highlight that the in-room refrigerator is really too loud when sleeping. It caused me to wake up each night in the middle of the night. I believe there should be a 'casing' around the unit to muffle the noise.

One or two unforeseen hiccups but dealt with quickly and efficiently by Mavel, Genita and other staff. A traditional, mid town hotel in a good location. Would definitely stay there again. Local eateries and shops and close to landmarks.

The hotel was expensive after all the charges are added in. The room was tired. We have stayed on the upper floors and the rooms were updated, but this one was not. I was afraid to touch the sofa. Service was fairly good. We asked for a double bed upgrade and even though it was confirmed ahead of time, there were no rooms with double beds available, but there were one bedroom suites which were more expensive. i wonder if there really were not any double beds. The room was very quiet even though next to the elevator. The location is great. I was not as happy with this visit as I have been in the past and will probably not return.

We stayed at the Benjamin in 2005 and that is why we came back. What kind of ruins the stay is your $35.00 charge for internet. We paid $2100.00 for a four night stay, and internet is not included. We may not come back because of that.
