Located in the heart of Manhattan, The Chatwal, New York bridges classic and contemporary like no other. Nestled between Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park and the Theater District, the landmark hotel, originally built in 1905 by Stanford White, has been beautifully restored and renewed by master architect Thierry Despont, re-launched in 2010 with 76 rooms and suites, several of which feature spacious terraces. Carefully selected amenities, professional butler service and bespoke service make it an ideal choice for both leisure and business travelers. The hotel is home to the MYND Spa, and the famous Lambs Club Restaurant.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. They give you complimentary water, and all of the staff are extremely helpful in making your stay the best. The room itself is also extremely nice and clean upon arrival. We had the pleasure of meeting Michael Karaduzovic whom was extremely kind and helpful during our stay. Aside from greeting us all day long when going in and out of the hotel, he was dedicated and showed it especially when we were leaving. We dropped our debit card and he ran to catch our car before we went too far. You will NOT be disappointed with your stay at the Chatwal in NYC!

The hotel is showing its age. I booked and stayed in the Zen Suite with a very nice terrace. The room had a whole in the wall and the bathroom has cracks in the glass. The front office management has zero follow up, both the Manager and the Director. The Bellman was superb, the cleaning staff incredible and the restaurant manager the best.

The Chatwal excels in all departments. Excellent property, staff, location. Rooms were luxurious and well-appointed, restaurant was superb, the staff all-round was helpful and courteous.

Best service we have experienced at any hotel in NYC in many trips here. From Ali the bellhop to the front desk and butler staff, all were not just friendly but went the extra step to elevate beyond “good” service to exceptional. Our first stay at the Chatwal, but will not be our last!
