If you're ever overcharged from this place - good luck trying to get your money back! SO disappointed with their customer service. I'm still waiting to be refunded for being overcharged - I was told it would take "2-5 business days" and almost two months later I have gotten nothing nor heard anything. All my attempts to reach out, by phone and email, have not been returned, it's like I don't exist. Make sure to check your bill thoroughly.

We have just come back from a 4 night break in NYC and stayed in this wonderful hotel. Everything here is to a very high standard and the room view of the Hudson river was an added bonus particularly at night when the skyline was lit up. Staff here are very thoughtful and go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. We had left our room privacy light on by mistake one day so didnt get our room serviced but within a few minutes of turning it off a lady from housekeeping was at the door to see if we required anything doing even though it was quite late at night. We loved the location as it was within easy reach of everything we wanted to see and we were able to walk along the Hudson at sunset which was beautiful. It was my partners birthday during our stay and we were greeted with a lovely plate of cake/desserts one day with a card from the hotel staff. Thank you for making our stay very special and we will be returning to the Conrad again in future.

My first time to try this newly opened Conrad in NYC, I was initially being surprised about the modern hardwares and brand new furnitures in the room, however the checkout experience on the departure day ruined all my good feelings to this hotel and makes Conrad New York from my first-choice-for-next-stay hotel to i-will-never-choose-to-stay-again-unless-zombies-attacking-the-NYC hotel. I stayed a total of 3 nights. On day of dep. I was reviewing my hotel folio via the TV system, I surprised to see a number of unknown charges appeared to my bill, including one charge transferred from another room # I have no idea of and two minibar charges I didn't use, (The minibar even locked until the night before dep. I asked to the hotel to unlock my minibar. ) I was hurry to catch my flight so I have no time to wait very longer for checkout, I stopped at the front desk before I leave, ask to checkout the room and settle my bill. The front desk agent, a gentleman asked my room # and start to make calls, after 5 minutes wait, I was being told that the first two nights of room charges were left unpaid, (I prepaid in full the room online already 2 days before check in), now they ask me to pay the room again, and explained nothing about unknown charges appeared in my bill. I asked to see the manager, but the gentleman said he cannot reach the manager because he does not know her location. There really has no room for time for me to figure out what’s wrong with them, I will be late for my flight if I do. I asked again for the manager, a little loudly, the front desk agent surprised me by threaten to call the security. In my lifetime, I have stayed 4 years in hotel and let's say over 1000 nights, 100 different properties worldwide in past 4 years, never see situation like this, I even have a gold level with Hilton, they got my bill messed up and ask me to pay double room rates + unknown charges I didn't even know where it comes from, then threaten me by calling security. It’s a total surprise! Finally the manager come, after wait almost 20 minutes, she asked me to send an email to her about my hotel confirmation, then took off the charges do not belong to me, however I ask her why this situation will happen, and how you are not knowing any thing about my reservation payment status at time of my check-in then bring this up when I checkout, if I am really hurry in time, who will pay my missed flight? I mean, I stayed total of 3 nights, if that was true you have a payment issue from my travel agency for reservation, you can let me in the middle of my stay, anytime during my stay, not the last time, when I have to go to catch my flight. You are forcing your guests to pay rooms/charges should belong to him/her or him/her will missed the flight. She gives no explanation. + my hilton honors membership number in my folio is wrong ! And she also gives no explanation on that issue. I did not even get a copy of my bill, AND ONE MORE THING My credit card was just being charge again from Conrad NYC about $90+ after I checked out, I will question my bank to see what’s this after it posted to my account. I don’t understand, how they don’t even how to make a right bill, it’s not a science ? right ?

I enjoyed my in your hotel. Rooms are hygiene and comfortable in all aspects. Good to opt online as pre booking is allowed here. I like the reception 🛎 for there warm welcome and guidance over local area.

Last time we were in NY we stayed at Loews Regency and were quite content. Who could tell that we would experience a whole new level of service? We spent 10 flawless nights at the Conrad. We got the ultimate pampering. Everyting was absolutely perfect: The receptionists were so kind and eager to assist us anytime. They had zero arrogant-attitude (which is very typical of employees working in 5 star hotels). The cleaning was spotless, we actually felt like being at home. Trust me when you stay for 10 nights you can certainly tell if your room is being properly cleaned or not. All employees were trained to genuinely look after the hotel’s guests. We had constant coffee, sugar, milk, chocolate & water refills. Our son got as a present a nice t-shirt and a cute toy, a gesture that made a difference. The hotel is strategically located next to Brookfield Place, One World Trade Center, Battery Park, Oculus, the ferries for Ellis Island & Statue of Liberty, the subway. Tribeca is gradually developing and evolving into a major place of interest. All in all, we were very impressed with the Conrad and would love to come back. Why? Because the small details made a huge difference, compared to other well known 5 star hotels.
