Reviews for The Dominick Hotel

Nice. But, Crazy Expensive

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

The hotel is lovely, the location and gym are great. Our room on the 18th floor had wonderful city views. The in-room safe (in the closet) is so close to the floor which is a hassle, as is the one sink bathroom (one sink is a death of marriage). The issue is the price of just about everything; $44 a day for wifi, $18 for a bottle of pellegrino - crazy. The hotel gives us $115 breakfast credit (because we paid/reserved via Amex). We both order one entree, plus 1 coffee, 1 tea. It amounts to more than $115. Madness. Really. There really is just no justification for staying here for that much money. There are other hotels in this area, and elsewhere, for a better bargain - even for a luxury hotel.

I am a frequent guest at the Dominick and I like it so much that I keep on coming. The weather was nice for this time of the year, I love spring street and walking around

Best views in Soho at the Dominick

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

Location in Soho the best. The rooms in the higher floors have the best view. This is our second stay in room 4110/4111 which comprises of two rooms with 2 and a half bathrooms with a separate living room and desk. Even the bathroom with a bath tub and a separate shower, have a wonderful view. Service is friendly and non obtrusive which for us is the best kind.

Overall it was a wonderful stay

Love The Dominick. I'll be returning in December and January! The location was over a mile from our office and it provided a nice walking distance. My room had an incredible view of the Hudson River. The staff were exceptional. Check in and out was a breeze. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Awesome staff and accommodations!

What an amazing hotel with awesome staff that were exceptionally accommodating! I recently planned a trip to celebrate my Mother's birthday with family. This was her first time visiting New York and the hotel definitely set the tone for our trip. I can't express enough thanks to Mohendra. He checked us in, ensured our rooms and service were exceptional and my Mother had the most spectacular view which made our stay even more special. Thank you Mohendra for such great accomodations and I would definitely recommend this hotel for future stays!
