This Has Been The Worst Experience We Ever Had In NYC Sorry But Ms. Sanela Sau Should Be Taking Her Job More Serious Instead Of Hanging With Friends While At Work.. In Some Rooms Heat's Not Working Properly In Specially The Penthouse, and 14th flr Also Hot Water Runs Out in Just A Few Minutes And It Comes Out White... They Gave Us Keys To Our "Room" To Find Other People Already Checked In It You Go To The Front Desk And They Seem Bothered By Their Own Mistake.. Got Moved 3 Times Was Charged For A Specific Suite And Never Even Got To See What It Looked Like... OVER ALL NEVER AGAIN I DEF DON'T RECOMEND IT TO ANYONE! Spent 8 nights at here. On the day of check out I had arranged to have a late checkout at 1pm instead of 12pm. At 1.06pm I received a call from the front desk from a very rude woman asking why I hadn't checked out. After 8 nights I thought they could have forgiven my 6 minute delay. When I went to the desk to check out the blonde curly haired woman who had called me was very rude and unfriendly. The minibar in my room wasn't restocked any day. The lifts, corridors and my room stank of weed throughout my stay. There was constantly laundry and full trash bags left in the corridor by housekeeping. The bed was comfortable and the hotel is a good location for tourists and business travellers.

I stayed here for 5 nights in December, and the location of this property is ideal. Centrally located, and walking distance from a lot of major attractions. There is a great restaurant inside the building, and staff were very helpful and attentive. The rooms are of a good size, but the bathroom was a little on the small size. There also needs to be a ceiling light in the room, as it was quiet dark due to only having the bed side lamps. Staff were very helpful, and welcoming. Very easy check in too. Only thing was they charged my account twice for the stay, which took over a week to be rectified which was slightly frustrating. On the whole though a very good stay, and I would stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay at The Gotham Hotel for 7 nights in December. Pros: 1. Location is great! Short walk to Rockefeller and shops! We walked everywhere except caught taxi to Brooklyn, downtown & upper west side. 2. Friendly snd helpful staff! I needed to print some tickets and the staff were very helpful with this. 3. Great view of city out our side window. We could see Times Square lights. 4. Balcony was a great addition - however we didn't use much because it was cold. 5. Great shower - 2 shower heads with good pressure. 6. Popular restaurant on site - we didn't use this but it looked nice! Cons: 1. There is an Nespresso coffee machine in room however the pods were not re stocked. We didn't mind because we liked trying coffee in different spots throughout the city, but I can imagine other people would like them to be re stocked. We didn't ask about this but maybe if you want to ensure you have pods each day you could check with staff. 2. Small bathroom - bit squishy but was not a huge issue. Tips: Stay in a queen skyline - this ensures street views. We stayed on level 18.

I booked this hotel via the "Hotel Night" which I highly recommend people do. The service I received from Sanela Sau as soon as I stepped in the hotel was definitely 5 stars. I highly recommend booking through her and at this hotel.
