Reviews for The Greenwich Hotel
We have stayed at The Greenwich for the past 5 years and we enjoy it now as much as we did the first time The staff from the front desk to the SPA manager are extremely professional we have gotten to know most of the staff and they are all wonderful Very little turnover in these positions assures stability and service Fernando and Sue MIAMI

From the greeting, to the advice for local attractions, to the room, the wonderful quiet location, the courtyard, the prompt room service... you name it and this place did it all without flaw. Highly recommended.

After staying at other 5-star hotels in mid-town we opted for the Greenwich/SOHO area this time around. As The Greenwich is connected to American Express Fine Hotels and Resorts privileges we have it try. This place is a true oasis.....almost like a elegant guest house with all the amenities and services one would expect for a 5-star experience. The staff is super professional and discrete which makes you feel that you are being treated like royalty. The Italian restaurant, Locanda Verde, is top class with a great vibe. The bathroom is one of the nicest we have had with a bathtub that fills in 3 minutes plus a rain shower with the best water pressure I have experienced. We stayed in a corner suite without a balcony. Next time we stay we will request one of the rooms with a balcony. All in all one of the top 2-3 hotels we have stayed in. Highly recommended if you wish to stay in this part of the city.

The hotel is in TriBeCa not Greenwich village as the address might suggest. Well located for the village and Soho this hotel is five mins walk from broadway west street for great shopping. The hotel decor is modern and cool with a great courtyard outdoor space for food and drinks. The restaurant is open to no residents and is clearly very popular and that's no surprise as the food is delicious although a bit pricey. Our room was large , stylish and comfortable. The soft drinks and snacks from the mini bar are complimentary which is generous. The staff are great and nothing was too much trouble. They helped us arrange theatre and club tickets, cabs and car hire. All round a great experience.
Great rooms with tons ofcharacter. If in NYC on social trip, staying downtown can work. But if meetings are in midtown, it is a hike. Good for financial district. Funky vibe and crowd. Fun for a romantic weekend.
