Our Vermont Family spent a wonderful time in NYC and part of that included our stay at the Park Lane Hotel. The accommodations were excellent, very clean, comfortable and spacious. We had adjoining rooms so the families were able to enjoy each other as a group as well as individual times together. At the end of our very busy days, it was so nice to get back to the hotel, kick off our shoes and wash off the exterior dust and retain the great memories we created. One of the very special things about this hotel is the staff. Our family is a big believer is treating kindness with kindness and everyone we encountered responded in kind. Our grandgirls befriended several staff members and were eager to share their day with them and the adult responses were enthusiastic and gracious. In fact, one greeter and the girls decided to become pen pals. So yes, any very nice hotel can provide comfortable accommodations, but to be professional as well as genuinely friendly and interested in our family, that made for a unique and rewarding experience, credit goes to the managers and staff at the Park Lane Hotel.

Our stay was wonderful. The staff is very attentive, courteous and helpful. Our room was beautiful and immaculate. The location of the hotel is great. There's lots to do in walking distance, public transportation is close by and it's very easy to get a cab. We had a drink at the rooftop bar - wonderful views and great vibe. Can't wait to stay here again.

Staff very nice. Location super. Hotel was horrible. The heater was on and no AC so it was nearly 80 degrees in my room. They gave me a fan! I did not sleep. They gave me no warning in the 5 text they sent about my stay. No price concession. Will never stay there again.

Okay so I searched a bunch of places, looking for the best value & closest to the park. Park lane - ESPECIALLY THROUGH THE CAPITAL ONE TRAVEL PORTAL since I already have a Cap1 card - was the best choice by far. I rented 3 rooms through Capital One and got upgrades on 2 out of 3 - one room upgraded to a higher floor, another room upgraded to two kings instead of 1 room w/ 2 queens. The only room I did not get updateded was the Panoramic Park View, which was the room I stayed in myself. I was assured by my friends that the other rooms were nice, but it was worth it to get the larger room, since we were hosting 10-15 of us at one time. ALL ROOMS INCLUDED FREE BREAKFAST because of the Cap1 benefit. Breakfast had unlimited mimosas, delicious fruit & cheese board, pastries and toast, salmon and avocado, eggs and bacon and potatoes etc The breakfast maven, Becca, made sure to take good care of us and served any specialty coffee orders we had. One room we did not use the additional $100 'experience credit,' and upon my request at checkout, they were able to use that to reduce my final bill. The view, especially from our 41st floor Panoramic Park View double queen, was absolutely delightful. The staff gave an air of snobbery but accommodated my requests for multiple storage carts and 12am requests for a late (12:30pm )checkout no questions asked. We all had a magnificent time at Park Lane Hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying at Central Park.
