This was truly a 5 star experience. I was so impressed with the customer service. From check in to the lounge to the cleaning and hospitality folks, the staff at the Langham was truly excellent. Our room was beautiful and the club amenities were so worth it and beyond. definitely book a club room - the food snacks and drinks really elevated our stay. We can’t wait to come back! We stay at a lot of hotels - this was a stand out. The amenities are one thing - the customer service is what took it to the next level

This is a great hotel but maybe not your typical "luxury NYC" hotel. If you're looking for the vibe of the plaza or Ritz, you might be disappointed. The Langham has a modest, unassuming lobby but has outstanding amenities, spacious and well-appointed rooms. It would be an ideal place if you are travelling for business. And service is top notch. Is it maybe a bit pricey for what it is? Yes. But it's a very central location. I would definitely go back. Some good things to know: - rooms are huge for NYC standards. - proper closet space! lots of hanging space and drawers - excellent in-room amenities: iron, a STEAMER!, kettle, nespresso maker, minibar, notepaper, lots of plugs, a stapler even! - bathroom has Diptyque toiletries. Hairdryer is excellent - drybar full size brand. - good gym with a number of machines

The staff (everyone that we interacted with) was incredible! We almost always stay in luxury brand or boutique hotels when we travel. The employees of the Langham are some of the best trained, friendliest, and most helpful people we've encountered at any hotel. The hotel is conveniently located and a walkable distance from many of the things we enjoy doing when in New York. The food is top notch too.

Changing previous review, We have stayed at the hotel several times with no complaints but this time we were not given a good room. Imar the supervisor wanted us to upgrade and when we didn't he gave us an unsafe room-we are seniors. The bathtub was very high and dangerous; my husband almost fell. He had to go to the front desk and request t change of room. By the way, we are members and if this the way Omar treats us, I don't we will be returning. There are plenty of hotels in NYC and we deserve better.
