My night was disrupted by someone trying to enter the room. I could not sleep all night after the incident and the manager only apologised. The manager apologised but nothing was offered. This should never happen in a hotel of that standard and price range

We visited NYC for a long weekend to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and are officially a Langham family. This hotel offered perfect proximity to everywhere we wanted to be, the staff was exceptionally kind and professional, and the room was beautiful. The only negative was the restaurant service, but avoidable and the hotel was still worth it!

The room and the location were excellent, however the Night Manager was not polite at all. It seemed like our mere presence disgusted him. When we came in he didnt even say hello to us, and you could feel an overall disdained stare. I went downstairs since the AC wasnt working properly only for him to asked me, ironically obviously, "what temperature are you looking for?". What a weird question. He said that there was nothing he could do, that someone will come upstairs but if the problem persisted unfortunately he could not give me any other solution. But again, it was the manner in which he said things, would not even look at me, no desire to solve things at all. For a room that cost us aprox $800 a night it is not acceptable. I travel a lot and go to NYC quite a lot too and this is the first time we have such an unpleasant treatmen. Will not come back again ever.

Love the care and attention from the doorman to the housekeeping staff and of course the front desk. Fantastic property, but what makes it special is the staff at every level. Can't wait to be back !
