Our stay at Thompson Central Park exceeded every expectation. We were celebrating a special birthday for my daughters, and the staff made it truly magical. Thanks to a Guest of Honor award and the courtesy of the management, we received a complimentary room upgrade that helped create an unforgettable experience. The room was spotless, with fresh linens, robes and slippers, and thoughtful twice-daily housekeeping. We were especially touched to find birthday treats and a handwritten card waiting in the room—such a kind and personal gesture. The concierge was attentive, and every staff member made us feel welcome. Breakfast at Parker’s was fresh and delicious every morning. The hotel is in a perfect location—steps from Central Park and a short walk to Rockefeller Center and Top of the Rock. Even on rainy days, the warmth and comfort of Thompson made all the difference. Tip: NYC nights can be noisy due to construction, so bring earplugs just in case. Thank you, Thompson Central Park, for making this birthday trip so special. We can’t wait to come back!

Excellent stay at Thompson Central Park! Friendly and helpful from front desk check in to checking bags with the concierge. Room was very clean and comfortable and had an excellent rainfall shower. Bed was super comfy! My only somewhat negative were the elevators (slow and packed) but that seems to be a NYC issue in general. Overall a great stay and I will definitely be back!

The hotel staff is very friendly and efficient, and the hotel itself is clean, nice, and in a convenient location. The elevators are fast, and the lobby has a nice ambiance. We thought the room was spacious, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Arriving at the hotel feels like coming home. I always choose it. The front desk staff, especially Cristopher Fannon, always make me feel like part of the family—they treat me with warmth and go out of their way to give me the best. They truly value that I’m a Globalist guest. Mr. Edwin is also incredibly kind. In my opinion, it’s the best hotel in New York in terms of human quality, beauty, cleanliness, and overall standard.

have been Globalist for the last 16 years, so have had the privilege of staying at many world renowned Hyatts. This one would be at the top of our list. Rooms were impeccable, beds and pillows were great and the shower pressure was strong. Every single staff member we came in contact with at the Thompson Hyatt was exceptional! Two standouts were Paul, our waiter at breakfast each morning, and Miranda, who is a manager. And Jonathan, one of the doorman, was also exceptional. We were heading to LGA on Sunday morning and he explained that the street was closured due to a marathon. He then took our luggage and walked us all the way to 7th Avenue and got us a cab. I don't think we would have ever figured that out on our own. Our last 2 stays were at the Park Hyatt where we thought the hard product was great, but the staff was indifferent. We will never stay there again. Only the Thompson from now on.
