I booked this hotel at last minute after late dinner. Room is ok. Service is disaster. I asked for disposable tooth brush and tooth past at night. Nothing came. In the morning, I urgently needs this before I go to office, called twice. Said it will come soon..never came again..waited for 40 minutes..I had to leave office without brushing teeth

Room large enough to do my exercise class via zoom! Elevators were fast and reliable. Hall and rooms quiet. Staff friendly and helpful.

Chris at the front desk of the Thompson is bar non top tier in his craft regarding customer service. This was our second time staying, and my mother Isabel has been warmly welcomed each time she went. We will continue to stay here when we’re in the city, and will be sure to let others know as well. Highly recommended 😊

Appreciated the early check-in and late checkout, wonderful breakfast, friendly service. And ideal location of course.

We stayed here for three nights in May and we had a room with two double beds for three adults. PROs: Excellent breakfast menu and delicious food; elevators are fast and efficient; polite friendly and helpful staff at front desk, entrance, housekeeping, and restaurant. Unbeatable location near Central Park and yet close enough to walk to mid-town attractions without being too near the crowded busy areas. Public areas were clean; tidy and well maintained. Room was well appointed and organized for storage. Cons: Rooms needed more seating and more than one luggage rack. Had to ask for an ironing board since there wasn't one in the room. Each bed had two large but very flat pillows which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. Bathroom: small and the shower had no door which meant the floor was always getting wet. For a high end hotel, the toiletries were v. basic. The bath could have also used a dehumidifier and more towel hooks.
