The Michelangelo Hotel is an outstanding place to stay when visiting New York. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff are excellent and the food is very good. The atmosphere is relaxed. The mid-town location is perfect for taking in Broadway shows. Highly recommended!

This is my second trip to New York and this time I decided to try a new hotel, opted for something a bit more old fashioned. The hotel is a lovely property very elegant with lots of old elegance, classic American. The hotel is very clean, staff are most efficient and decent, the property itself is very pleasant. My room was quite spacious with a very well stocked mini bar. The location is also beyond great, right in the heart of Manhattan. I'll definitely stay there again if I ever traveled to New York and I strongly recommend it.

My husband and I were in New York City to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary. We couldn't have been more pleased with the Michelangelo Hotel. We were warmly welcomed by the staff when we arrived and the room was comfortable and quiet. We had minor issues with the shower handle and a running toilet, both were fixed promptly and we were given a bottle of wine for our trouble. Walter and Asha at the front desk were very helpful with little requests and Henry, one of the doormen, took perfect care of our luggage on our last day while we squeezed in a little more site-seeing before catching our afternoon train. The hotel is conveniently located to Central Park and many popular attractions, including Times Square, Top of the Rock, Radio City Music Hall and the Theater district. Really a great location and easy to access via the subway. I highly recommend the Michelangelo Hotel to anyone planning to visit New York City. Susan and Terry, Fairfax, Virginia.

We had a wonderful stay at the Michelangelo hotel. All hotel staff were friendly and welcoming! Walter was a gem as we checked out and advised that they would hold our luggage as we had a late flight and also advised to take a taxi to the airport for an easier trip. The hotel is beautiful inside, the rooms are big and comfy and have robes and slippers to lounge in. We were able to use the business center to print tickets as needed. This hotel is on the perfect location, close to Times Square, Rockefeller, Radio City, any Broadway show, and really just to walk around. We enjoyed our stay and this will be our first choice when returning to New York for a stay!

The hotel was great. Much bigger room than I expected, great staff, great location. The bathroom/tub/shower was great. Big walk in closet. You get Robes and slippers. The only bad thing was the mattress, hard as a rock, lumpy and slanted.
