I have been coming to this hotel for about 6 years for both personal and business travel. My experience has been excellent at the Michelangelo from booking through check out each and every trip. This year was no exception. Henry, with the Bell Staff was the highlight of my experience this year, He is the most professional and customer caring hotel staff member I have come across. I had over 100 hotel nights last year, so can speak with an objective opinion, there is not a better customer facing individual in the industry. If you are staying at the Michelangelo please ask for Henry. I think you will be very pleased you did.

Because if you do, the secret might get out. This is a wonderful hotel. Location is outstanding--51 and 7th. Staff is attentive and results oriented. Rooms are modern and clean. Breakfast is very good. This is our second time to stay here. You will feel like this is your home away from home in NY. But please don't tell anyone.

I cannot say enough about this great hotel! I discovered the Michelangelo several years ago on a girls trip and have been going back year after year. The location of this beautiful boutique hotel is within walking distance to the theater and many restaurants. The rooms are quiet, tastefully decorated and the beds are extremely comfortable. But the best is the staff! Every time I arrive, I see the same familiar faces at the door and at check-in. If you get the chance, make sure to ask for Henry, the bellman! He has been with the hotel for 31 years, ALWAYS has a smile, and he goes above and beyond to make sure you (and your bags) are well taken care of. He is the best!

Nice hotel, but the real charm came from the unique and entertaining atmosphere from the bar, specifically when Bernie was there. I was saddened to hear he wasn't there anymore, and it just wasn't the same. This will impact my decision to stay here in the future.
