The Michaelangelo Hotel FAR has exceed our expectations (and they were high!). We arrived 2 nights ago and have had THE BEST service, hospitality, food, and comfort! A huge shout out to Mersad who has gone above and beyond every time we've encountered him! A real gem of a person and a hotel! If we come back to NYC, there's no question about where we will stay! Old world charm and service in an otherwise hectic area!

This hotel has a great location near the theatre district and shopping. The lobby and rooms had a lot of marble meant to evoke Italy, though perhaps the interiors could have used a refresh or some minor repairs. The staff was professional.

What a great option for staying in NYC. Excellent location - we were just a short walk away from all the major theaters and many sights. We felt safe walking to and from the hotel at all hours of the day. The hotel itself was quite a treat. While it may seem older at first glance, note that the rooms are large, and the beds and baths very comfortable. Rooms were remarkably quiet. Staff was top notch and super helpful. We felt pampered. We will definitely return the next time we are in NYC.

Thank you for a truly beautiful 16-hour stay. The Michelangelo staff was exceptional—professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.
The food was excellent as well. I had friends join me for dinner, which was delightful, and I managed to enjoy a quick breakfast before my early departure.
I was especially delighted by the unexpected upgrade—what a wonderful surprise! My only regret was that my visit was too short. To fix that, I’ll be returning very soon, and I’m already looking forward to another memorable experience.
