Great hotel with wonderful staff. Despite its location, rooms are quite. Very clean , wonderful service, 10 out of 10. Shout out to their valet Henry who has been there 37 years. Great guy!

Hotel is in an excellent location in Manhattan. We did not notice any street noise on the 7th floor. Room has a window but was just feet from the parking garage next door, so very little natural light. I’m sure there are street facing rooms with more light. The room was very spacious for NYC, bed was comfortable, sheets were good. The bathroom had a large tub and shower. The downside was that if you have any mobility issues, it was a big climb into the tub to shower. The bathroom door was a heavy pocket door that squealed when opened/closed (no quiet trips to the bathroom). Electrical outlets were scarce for electronics, but the worst part was we had terrible connectivity in the room for cell service and internet. There is a small business center, but we had difficulty even making phone calls in our room. The staff was fantastic, and the restaurant was good. If it wasn’t for the bathroom door and connectivity, it would be a 10/10!

I spent 5 nights here in June and, having stayed here multiple times I can honestly say this hotel always feels welcoming and luxurious. This time I upgraded to a suite that was huge and extremely comfortable! Beds are heavenly… personnel is lovely, housekeeping efficient and prompt and in a city full of hustle and bustle it always feels like a tranquil heaven once you step inside the hotel! Doormen are super friendly and helpful as is front desk personnel! They make you feel like a cherished friend rather than a number like most NYC hotels … that, along with their proximity to Broadway shows makes this my go- to place to stay when in town for a visit to see shows and experience all Manhattan has to offer. I’ll be back

Thank you for a truly beautiful 16-hour stay. The Michelangelo staff was exceptional—professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.
The food was excellent as well. I had friends join me for dinner, which was delightful, and I managed to enjoy a quick breakfast before my early departure.
I was especially delighted by the unexpected upgrade—what a wonderful surprise! My only regret was that my visit was too short. To fix that, I’ll be returning very soon, and I’m already looking forward to another memorable experience.
