A mixed bag
This hotel is a mixed bag. The rooms are reasonably generous in size (and I was in a smaller one) and beds very comfortable. Breakfast was also good, as is the central location. The downside is the fact it is a bit tired with dated decor. As with so many New York hotels, it is very close to its neighbors so there is limited light or views in side rooms.

Wonderful time while visiting NYC for business
Great service, from everyone. Always helping, smiling, supporting. Great location. Clean, spacious rooms. Relaxed, although the very central location. A great pleasure. Will be back for sure.

Thank you for a truly beautiful 16-hour stay. The Michelangelo staff was exceptional—professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.
The food was excellent as well. I had friends join me for dinner, which was delightful, and I managed to enjoy a quick breakfast before my early departure.
I was especially delighted by the unexpected upgrade—what a wonderful surprise! My only regret was that my visit was too short. To fix that, I’ll be returning very soon, and I’m already looking forward to another memorable experience.
