Outstanding boutique hotel. Wonderful service, friendly staff and comfortable facilities. Convenient to Theater District and Central Park locations. Our room faced West 51st Street and street noise is noticeable. If sensitive to noise when sleeping bring ear plugs. It's NYC so not unexpected.

Excellent location, wonderful and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Need fresher looking towels in bathrooms. There are even umbrellas in the rooms for rainy days. The subway was nearby, plus we could walk easily around midtown.

We have stayed several times at The Michelangelo and we love it. The rooms, as others have said, are very big for New York City and the location can't be beat, especially if you're going to see a show. And the staff? Super friendly and helpful, especially Henry, the lead doorman. He always has a smile on his face and a story to tell. When we checked out yesterday, he even invited us for dinner at his house the next time we are in town. I'm not surprised he has worked there for nearly 30 years -- he's a true gem.

Everything about this hotel is excellent: it spotlessly clean, everything seems new, the rooms are huge, staff very attentive and location is perfect. The price is indeed high, but this hotel is no doubt better than others I've stayed in NYC.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is well located and the staff is nice - all the basic necessities are there and the rooms were quite large. My only complaints would be that there were signs of wear e.g. stains on carpets and the chairs and we found the resort fee very bizarre and are not sure if it is common in NYC. We were also woken up at 8-9 AM by housekeeping on a few occasions for no apparent reason and this was unwanted as we were sleeping. Overall I can recommend the hotel.
