The Surrey, A Corinthia Hotel

What a wonderful experience we had last week at The Surrey Hotel. A serene, well appointed hotel in a great location on the Upper East Side. The room was well designed, bright and quite comfortable. I think it might just be my favorite "new" hotel, and we have stayed in some lovely spots. Jonathan at the desk greeted me with such kindness, Timothy, our wonderful server at the beautiful Casa Tua restaurant was professional and attentive and he made our day, Julio worked hard to take good care as did all the wonderful employees whom we dealt with during our stay. Everyone was very kind and professional and it's clear this hotel is being managed with much attention to detail. The food at Casa Tua was delicious and we had a lovely breakfast each morning. We enjoyed delicious salads at the lounge off the lobby. We look forward to visiting the dining room on our next visit. Zitomer (pharmacy and mini department store across the street) is one of NYC's gems and I love how easy it is to hop over from the Surrey when you need something. The Surrey is a lovely hotel with professional, friendly staff in every department. The perfect spot for anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful hotel in NYC. We hope to visit again soon.

This was the first time my wife and I stayed at this hotel since it was redone a couple of years ago. Preliminarily , it was aesthetically very pleasing. Our room was beautifully decorated, very functional and the amenities were plentiful. The service in the hotel from top to bottom can only be described as incredible We enjoyed breakfast and lunch in at The Surrey and found the food and service impeccable. We also loved the quiet elegance and location of this five star boutique hotel We have not had such a transcendent hotel experience in New York in many years. The Surrey is a treasure and we give it our highest recommendation possible. Bravo

We had a fantastic experience here this past weekend, travelling as a couple with our dog. We’ve stayed at many similarly priced hotels in NYC and this was our favorite experience thus far. The quality of the room, quality of service, location etc was spot on. Staff went out of their way to make us and our dog feel at home. Shoutout to Miguel (bellman), Wassim (front office supervisor) and Carlos (concierge) for making our trip so special. We’ll be back soon

This was our second stay at The Surrey in one year. Both times the staff, beautifully appointed room, lobby bar and restaurant all made for an exceptional stay! I would highly recommend The Surrey for a stay in Manhattan!
