The Surrey, A Corinthia Hotel

Hotel and staff were totally awesome. Had 3 rooms for a weekend stay in NY. Had cocktails in the lounge and breakfast in Casa Tua. There was no disappointment with anything. We definitely will return.

EVERYTHING about our stay at The Surrey was FANTASTIC ! The associates… every single one…were friendly, welcoming, professional and yet personable. The rooms are beautiful… new with every amenity possible. And the food, whatever time of day, is beyond delicious! I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough as it will make your New York stay most memorable !

Our stay at The Surrey Hotel was absolutely wonderful. We were in New York for a Robb Report Porsche event, and everything about our visit exceeded expectations. From the moment we arrived, the doorman and front desk team greeted us with genuine warmth and professionalism. A special thank you to Margaret, who truly made our stay exceptional. She was attentive, gracious, and ensured that every detail was perfect. Her kindness and dedication elevated the entire experience. The location was ideal, offering a quiet Upper East Side charm while being only steps away from Central Park, Madison Avenue, and the city’s finest shops and galleries. It felt both peaceful and perfectly connected. The hotel’s restaurant, Casa Tua, was a highlight. Breakfast was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, while our hosted dinner was equally impressive with outstanding service and delicious dishes. Every aspect of The Surrey embodied refined comfort and genuine hospitality. We left feeling refreshed, cared for, and eager to return. Five stars. A truly exceptional New York experience.

I recently stayed at this hotel in September with my mom. The whole stay was impressed. The hotel is a perfect location in the Upper East Side, just a short walk from Central Park and within 10 minutes on foot to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The hotel itself is decorated in a subtly elegant style—understated yet sophisticated. Everything in the room or in the other public area are clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. I want to thanks for the kind and polite staff we met. Jonathon at the front desk, who kindly assisted us with an early check-in. His friendly and professional attitude made us feel welcomed and valued right from the start. I highly recommend this hotel and will choose it again on my next visit to New York.

I spent nearly a week here and loved it. Perfect UES location. Exceptional service and attention from pre-trip requests, throughout my stay and with every hotel staff interaction, including car service and restaurant. Daily housekeeping went above and beyond. The room was spacious, incredibly quiet with gorgeous city views and understated elegant interiors.
