We loved every minute of our stay at The Surrey! We were greeted by Rocko and Coco who couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The staff on the desk were always professional and efficient. The hotel itself is very classy and always immaculate. Our room was lovely, it was much bigger than we expected for New York. As it was my husbands birthday a cake and drink was brought up to our room. A lovely gesture! This has to be the best spot in New York. It is literally a minutes walk to Central Park, Shopping on Maddison Avenue and The Met museum. There's plenty to do and see and plenty of restaurants. We made the mistake of booking a hotel in Times Square for the 2nd half of our trip as we thought it would be fun to be in the hub of it. We really wish we hadn't, it is fun to go see all the lights and take a photo but the traffic, noise, crowds and smell for us really made us miss The Surrey and upper east side.

The Surrey has become our home away from home in Manhattan. It's the only place we stay when we're in New York City. The service is first class, our room is beautiful and we love the location. The Surrey is a full service hotel with a wonderful spa and restaurant. It's the perfect size hotel.

From top to bottom, this hotel defines elegance. Attentive check in with water provided, courteous folks working at the hotel, comfy rooms with great beds and tremendous water pressure in the shower. Only stayed there 1 night; wish it was 5 or 6! Highly recommend

My room was spacious and clean with a beautiful view of Central Park. Housekeeping found a ring I had lost in my bed. The staff at the door and the front desk were very friendly and professional. The bar was lovely and a perfect spot for a drink with someone special. I look forward to visiting again!
