Stay at The Surrey and experience best in class.
I recently experienced another fabulous stay at The "New" Surrey Hotel NYC. Each and every time I stay, this hotel shows me what "real" 5 Star is. The interior design in both the public spaces and the guest rooms is stunning and the house keeping staff are second to none. More importantly what sets the hotel apart from others is the outstanding top tier level of service that each and every staff, up and down the line delivers to its guests. To say they make you feel like a special guest is an understatement. In addition, the Food & Beverage offering provided by Casa Tua is fabulous as well. Thank you Team Surrey for once again giving me a truly exceptional hotel experience. I look forward to more visits in 2026.

Amazing stay, tops in NYC
First visit back after countless stays at the 'previous' Surrey. Well, wow, wow, wow. This is an exceptional hotel, ranking amongst the top in NYC. Casa Tua bar and restaurant deliver in every way possible. The quality, atmosphere, ambience, service, so well done. Special shout out to Margaret at the front desk who always goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The complimentary town car, for short local trips is a very nice perk. Rooms couldn't be nicer. If you have $$$$ this is the place to stay, as well as see celebs. PS... Thank you staff for your compassion and support during a a very tough time. Chris

Best doorman ever
Our stay at The Surrey was absolutely wonderful, and a huge part of that was thanks to Julio, the doorman. From the moment we arrived, Julio made us feel truly welcomed. He greeted us every time with a smile, remembered our comings and goings, and somehow managed to make even the busiest moments at the entrance feel calm and effortless.

Great NYC hotel !
One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed it! Beautiful common areas and both our rooms were gorgeous! Every staff member top notch. Loved the bar and restaurant. Great location. Will definitely stay at The Surrey again. I highly recommend!

Superb Smaller Hotel
Superb smaller hotel with excellent service, luxurious rooms, and very good restaurant. Restaurant is very cozy and food was even better. Breakfast was well worth including. Rooms seem to be recently renovated and everything and I mean everything was custom. I would rank this as high as any Four Seasons or Mandarin that I have stayed in.
