This hotel is simply exceptional. I have stayed at most 5-star hotels from midtown up and this takes the cake. It is nestled in the quietest spot of the UES. Design is beautiful. Beds are so comfortable. Bathrooms are elegant with flawless lighting. Everything is so clean. Casa Tua in the lobby could not be more convenient. The gym was perfect - not too big, nor small. But the thing that really matters…the people. From Fernando giving me a huge hug when I got out of my car (it was during a very busy Met Gala evening but he made sure he was waiting on the street for me because of road closures - SO sweet!) To Rahim welcoming me and walking me to my room where I was greeted with a birthday cake & handwritten card! To Harlad and Carlos helping me to book the most fabulous dinners and coordinating all aspects of my trip. To Julio and Miguel’s smiling faces when I would enter and exit the hotel. They all just truly go above and beyond. It’s easy to just do your job. It’s much more welcoming when you can tell people truly care and live service. I just spent 3 days there and it was not enough. We simply cannot wait to come back! The hotel bleeds to Corinthia brand which is an amazing thing. They live customer service and luxury. 6 STARS! 💛

Comfortable and sophisticated. Valet team is great!

Stayed at The Surrey recently in an effort to change up my years-long routine of Nomad-area stays and I am officially in love with this property. Beautiful interiors, impeccable (beyond!) service, chic restaurant and lounge, and lovely spa. I made use of all the facilities (save the gym), including one wonderful early morning relaxing in the salt tepidarium and sauna. Shout-out to Lucas in the spa for his delightful hospitality. We had an amazing dinner at Casa Tua one evening and a fantatsic breakfast each morning there. Our room was perfection - super quiet (facing the interior) and the bathroom was stocked with everything you could need. But the biggest draw here is the service. If a staff member is anywhere near you, you will not even be able to push the elevator button yourself as they will beat you to it. Every staff member greeted us warmly and I've never been offered so many bottles of water in my life. Every time we stepped outside, we were asked if we needed the house car. And the concierge was able to get us into a restaurant with notoriously impossible-to-get reservations. Additional recognition must go to John, Miguel, and Steven at the door, Anthony at the front desk, Dan in the house car, and all of the wonderful housekeeping staff for their constant warmth and care. I can't wait to return to The Surrey!

Was in NYC for an unexpected family emergency. Julio was the shining light for our very stressful stay. His smile, his compassion, and care made the days feel lighter. The hotel is beautiful, and our room was very comfortable.
