The Towers at Lotte New York Palace in New York City, New York

The Towers at The New York Palace is a Madison Avenue institution. Built by a well-known railroad financier in 1882, the private mansion was modeled after the Palazzo della Cancelleria in Rome. It became The Helmsley Palace Hotel, later run by infamous Leona Helmsley and purchased by the Sultan of Brunei. A 2013 renovation melded modern touches into classically styled rooms, many of which have views of St. Patrick’s Cathedral and the Manhattan skyline. Residential-style Tower Suites are a favorite among well-heeled travelers and celeb sightings are frequent, especially when Gossip Girl films here several days each month.

Order a grand breakfast to be delivered to your suite as you watch the sun rise over the East River. Call on the house car, a Mercedes GL350 or a Maybach, to chauffeur you to shopping destinations across Midtown. Retire to Trouble’s Trust, a swanky bar with red lacquer walls under the lobby’s grand staircase, and sip a “Queen of Mean” cocktail, a cheeky homage to Leona Helmsley and her dog, Trouble.

Was staying in the hotel. Not sure why it's called The Towers. It's hidden on ground floor by a tertiary entrance. Dark and subtle, small, no daylight. It's a place to go and be away from it all if you wish. Nice staff

The Palace Hotel Towers Section is still Fabulous ! And as long as they have employees like Clara Law and Anna Marie it will continue to be for a very long time. Anna Marie greets everyone with her beautiful smile ALWAYS , and so does Clara Law. Little things like that make being away from home seem all that much like you're really not.I wish there were an Anna Marie and Clara Law everywhere I stayed. They are indeed two very special and dedicated employees and it definitely shows all the time.In a World where it seems good service is a lost art , these two wonderful young women make thing extremely special. Thank you so much Clara and Anna Marie for making my and my Grandson Austin's stay so memorable and fun. Sincerely, Richard Lee Orlando, Florida

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. The staff very friendly and plenty of amenities. Breakfast was delicious and I will definitely be staying here again. Walking distance to some amazing restaurants. Not to mention a chance to run into some famous/important people on the elevator.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel and had a wonderful experience. We immediately felt very special with a separate check in area. The room was beautifully appointed and quite large. Same thing with the bathroom. Upscale toiletries were provided for our use and thick towels and robes available for us as well. The staff made us feel like very special guests. The concierge, Joseph, suggested an excellent restaurant for dinner and seemed very knowledgeable about the area.

Many hotels I visit are hit or miss, inconsistently satisfying. The Towers is always meticulously exquisite in high end service service, condition and attention to detail. It is in an ideal location and I have no reason to stay anywhere else in NYC.
