Trump SoHo New York in New York City, New York

There is no mistaking Trump SoHo New York on downtown’s skyline. The 46-story glass tower rises high above cobblestoned Spring Street, a surprisingly smooth marriage of the neighborhood’s industrial-chic personality and The Donald’s trademark luxury. Located on the western edge of SoHo, the hotel is a perfect home base for exploring the art galleries, boutiques and historic cast-iron architecture surrounding it. At night, return for dinner reservations at Koi, the celeb-magnet Japanese fusion restaurant just off the hotel’s sweeping, dimly lit lobby.

Watch the sun rise over Midtown’s skyscrapers from the vantage point of your penthouse suite. Go for a morning jog along the Hudson River. Break for a coffee in the West Village and browse a local bookstore hidden on a quiet, tree-lined street. Don a pair of boots from a SoHo boutique and blend in with the fashion models dashing off to castings. Unwind in a Zen-inspired environment while dining on miso-bronzed black cod.

TRAVELING in the city, i'm thinking most hotel are crowded in midtown for exorbitant rates, so far better be out in the air with vista, and ease of access. I saw an amazing picture from Lower East Side of this gargantuan, and decided to check it out. The rates were better for a top notch hotel because...Trump name. I could be wrong but rates are better now. They gave me a 30+ high room, because not full, see? Ok fancy is nothing to me, I like budget hotels and good restaurants, but this is budget from a reverse direction. Recommended for travelers who want to be in a dense city and be free. It is a good approach to Chelsea and ART SOHO, the village and Wall Street, and a block from the tunel to NJ. My view was out to Williamsburg and sunrise beyond. I could see uptown, so beautiful, an unknown angle. Everything typical, but automatic curtains and lights. I want my curtains open for sunrise, and that was super twice. TV bed couch, shower, double sink in a marble bathroom, yes a huge tub by the window. I posted picts. No complaints. Great sleep. Walked about 3 miles although Google marked it as 6 miles with subway. I walked and walked, for health after a stressful interlude, cool crisp air...then a tub!

Some friends and I went to NYC for a birthday weekend of mine and ended up staying at Trump SoHo. I'm one of those people who's a sucker for views & luxury accommodations and the premier 2 bedroom suite that I stayed on the 35th floor was fantastic. The staff was very welcoming and provided some complimentary indulgences as a birthday present to me which I always appreciate and the cherry on top was being on a corner suite with panoramic views of the Empire State Building and all the midtown Manhattan skyscrapers. I was also able to have a partial view looking towards Brooklyn, the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan Bridge which just added to things. Finally, staying in a location with such great walkability made this a fantastic birthday weekend.

We stayed in a one bedroom executive suite. We were on the 39th floor and had the most amazing views. It was a corner suite and we had views uptown of the Empire State Building and also downtown of One World Trade. Amazing trip and the staff was very friendly. Room service was great also
