Love, love , love this hotel. It’s my go to in NY. Staff are very friendly and accommodating! Rooms always very clean and pretty!

Not sure it is worth the cost
I stayed here because of the room size and location. I had two teens with me and thought it would be a great experience. The view is amazing. The room size was great for 3 people. Front end staff from doorman to front desk are great. Housekeeping was great, super friendly and helpful. The location is great. The negatives...I booked this through Amex as a fine hotel, which means it comes with a breakfast credit. I quickly regretted this. There were enough people to handle a restaurant at full capacity. For a 4 or 5 star hotel, the food and service was not stellar. I would not eat here. The elevators! I wish I knew ahead of time. I timed a wait at 12min from floor 7 to lobby. It is no joke how bad it is. The bathroom - there is no door, so go with someone you want to be intimate with. I had other hotel options in a similar price range and sort of wish I picked them.

The good the bad and the ugly.
Stayed on the 4th of July. Very clean hotel with excellent water pressure. Beautiful skyline views of the city. Don't think you're going to be able to use the pool because it's always at capacity since they give priority to outsiders. There should be a time limit at the pool so that everyone can get a chance to visit the pool. The Elevator system problems are unprecedented.. The wait for an elevator sometimes exceeds 20 minutes. We could see the Macy's fireworks from our floor to ceiling windows pretty well.

Great property, poor elevator
Great property with nice rooms, but unfortunately the elevator situation was unacceptable. I don't think any of the staff would disagree! We wouldn't stay again, purely based on this, that's how bad it was.
