Reviews for The Dominick Hotel

Lovely Hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

My daughter and I shared a girls weekend and spa day at The Dominick Hotel. The staff especially the front desk receptionist was friendly and welcoming. The room was very well appointed and very clean. we had a corner suite overlooking the Hudson River and One World Trade. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom was well appointed with two sinks and separate bath and shower. The only problem was that the water took over 10 minutes to get warm in the shower. The spa had many special features and unusual amenities like Hamam room, Salt room, Steam room and Sauna. The treatments were great. My daughter said it was probably the best massage ever.

Great Soho location

Beautiful room Staff were friendly Naphratiti ( I think that’s her name) was particular helpful at the front desk Three Woking lifts is insufficient though for 41 floors of guests and I believe is a high risk if there is an emergency Thanks for having the mezzanine lounge available for World Cup football

Stay at The Dominick

I went here for my anniversary as my wife always wanted to stay at this hotel. Overall, it was great! The staff was amazing and very helpful. They brought our luggages up in addition to our DoorDash. The only things I have against: the valet parking is $125/night for a suv (regardless compact or not), you have to pay extra to have breakfast included in the room (even though the room is expensive enough) and the elevator situation isn’t ideal but it is what it is. Having parking included as well as breakfast (even buffet) would be nice given the high cost of the room. We found street parking fairly quick ~5 min away. Overall, we’d definitely stay here again! The view from our room was awesome as well! I would give ~4.5-4.7 star review.

Extremely slow

Location is fantastic and the doormen and staff were great HOWEVER, be prepared to wait 15+ minutes for an elevator. Yes 15+ minutes. It was a HUGE INCONVENIENCE. I had 2 ubers cancel on me from how long it took us to get downstairs. Room service took 40 mins to bring us a bowl and spoon but they also made that clear and when i asked why 40 mins she said because it will? Bellhop took an hour to come for our luggage, staff are very friendly and hospitable however the hotel definitely doesn’t deserve a 5 star status.
