Trump SoHo New York in New York City, New York

There is no mistaking Trump SoHo New York on downtown’s skyline. The 46-story glass tower rises high above cobblestoned Spring Street, a surprisingly smooth marriage of the neighborhood’s industrial-chic personality and The Donald’s trademark luxury. Located on the western edge of SoHo, the hotel is a perfect home base for exploring the art galleries, boutiques and historic cast-iron architecture surrounding it. At night, return for dinner reservations at Koi, the celeb-magnet Japanese fusion restaurant just off the hotel’s sweeping, dimly lit lobby.

Watch the sun rise over Midtown’s skyscrapers from the vantage point of your penthouse suite. Go for a morning jog along the Hudson River. Break for a coffee in the West Village and browse a local bookstore hidden on a quiet, tree-lined street. Don a pair of boots from a SoHo boutique and blend in with the fashion models dashing off to castings. Unwind in a Zen-inspired environment while dining on miso-bronzed black cod.

If you want a modern accommodation in NYK, this is the place. However, worth noting that the quality of the interiors is not up to mark. While you may be impressed with the design and view, you can't help wonder if the furniture, carpets, etc are of lower quality and in fact, not worth the room price. Definitely poor in comparison to similar concept hotels in other parts of the world. Also, an interesting point to note is the hotel lobby. The lobby displays are SPA items such as bathrobes, products, etc. A bit weird, i must say but maybe a sign that the only thing going about the hotel is its SPA. Apart from that, there really isn't anything else. Complimentary breakfast needs to be taken at the room. It takes 30 minutes wait time for each in-room service request. Front Desk service was poor. While i think it is important to be friendly and engaging with the guests, i do think the staffs need to pay attention to how much talking they do i.e. while they keep others at the line waiting. Overall, not value for money. Much ado about nothing!

This is a hard one to review. We experienced many positive things and also some negative things. We paid for an executive one bedroom family suite. It clearly states on our confirmation it is a king bed and a sofa bed. We had 2 adults and two teens. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly doormen, friendly front desk staff and we had cookies and a personal letter waiting for us in the room. Great room, spacious and a nice view. The problem began when we realized the couch did not pull out. There was a roll away bed in the room. We mentioned this to the bellman and he was sorry and said he'd get someone up. Someone came up and all he had were sheets and pillows for the couch. We were told we couldn't get another roll away because of fire hazzard, but the next day they'd bring a sofa bed up. So one child had to sleep on a sofa the size of a love seat. The next day my husband went to the front desk to make sure this would be taken care of while we were gone and he was met by a rude front desk lady who said there was nothing to be done. So another night we had one child sleeping on a small sofa. Definitely not what we paid for. My husband received an emailed survey and he gave a bad review of the front desk person and our situation. While we were out, we received a nice message from the manager apologizing and they brought up another roll away bed. Which was much better for my children, but now we had a room filled with beds and a sofa and it looked horrible and was a maze to get around. Not happy we paid for a suite so we could have extra room and it turned out this way. On a positive note, we used the concierge many times for tickets and recommendations and they were always so helpful and gave great recommendations. The doormen were always smiling and so polite. Room was always cleaned and picked up very nicely. Water and chocolates every day. The other negative was the hotel restaurant. Don't waste your time. Absolutely horrible service. Average food. So many other great NYC restaurants to try, don't bother with this one. So while some things were great, others weren't and because of that, I probably wouldn't stay here again.

We spent the Easter weekend in NYC visiting our daughter who lives in Murray Hill. We chose Trump Soho so that we could be close to downtown and because we needed a 2 bedroom hotel room. It was actually reasonably priced considering that we had a 2 bedroom suite. We booked online through the hotel's website and used their "suite promotion" . It was well worth it. The rooms were extremely spacious including the bathrooms. The location was fantastic. Easy walk to most all places in Soho and TriBeCa . We had a fantastic view of the entire city from our bedroom. We had a corner room on the 21st floor. All employees were very friendly and professional.

Wasn't my first stay at the Trump Soho, I am in love with the location, rooms, views. The only thing that isn't convincing are the lobby and in room dining, besides that, really recommend staying there! There's a Starbucks just right infront of the hotel!!

Gorgeous hotel located in a perfect spot in SOHO. The Subway station is very close, Little Italy and Shopping are walking distance. Bunch of really cool eating spots and lounges blocks away. The staff was very courteous and simply awesome! Everyone was very attentive and made our stay that much more comfortable. The room was spacious, and we will definitely be here again.
