Trump SoHo New York in New York City, New York
There is no mistaking Trump SoHo New York on downtown’s skyline. The 46-story glass tower rises high above cobblestoned Spring Street, a surprisingly smooth marriage of the neighborhood’s industrial-chic personality and The Donald’s trademark luxury. Located on the western edge of SoHo, the hotel is a perfect home base for exploring the art galleries, boutiques and historic cast-iron architecture surrounding it. At night, return for dinner reservations at Koi, the celeb-magnet Japanese fusion restaurant just off the hotel’s sweeping, dimly lit lobby.
Watch the sun rise over Midtown’s skyscrapers from the vantage point of your penthouse suite. Go for a morning jog along the Hudson River. Break for a coffee in the West Village and browse a local bookstore hidden on a quiet, tree-lined street. Don a pair of boots from a SoHo boutique and blend in with the fashion models dashing off to castings. Unwind in a Zen-inspired environment while dining on miso-bronzed black cod.

Reviews for Trump SoHo New York
Even though the Trump SoHo hotel isn't owned by Trump anymore, as you enter the lobby, a person would think they are walking in one of Trumps luxury houses or penthouses. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by a friendly concierge and helpful doormen. Since we stayed at Trump SoHo for a family members birthday, they offered us an upgraded room for 50% off which we declined and a chance to enter the VIP section of the spa for 25$ a person. Personally I thought they should upgrade us for free considering it seemed the hotel was empty. Although we didn't have an opportunity to indulge in the spa, we got a free tour. The spa seemed very well equipped with a sauna, massive steam rooms, relaxing showers that use different lights and settings to relax ur muscles and mind. The location was prime for the best shopping in the city. The hotel provides local drives for free in Escalade's. Although the ride was free, it seemed the drivers expected tips. The Pool was fairly warm and was on the 7th floor. The fitness room was well equipped and large. The rooms had very comfortable and soft beds. The showers had rain like shower heads which was great. The TVs were flat-screened and large but seemed kinda fuzzy. We spent 750$ for the "one bedroom sweet" which seemed kinda overpriced for what we got compared to Four seasons and Ritz Carlton's. Although we didn't spend much time in this hotel, it definitely deserves a five star rating.

We were very disappointed in the setting. The restaurant set up less than desirable, small tight tables. The only bar lounge is located in the outside swim area, no air conditioning, bad choice even for an evening drink with no particular view. Poor swim pool on midlevel of building not as pictured, long, narrow and environment very poor. Very limited shading umbrellas, extremely loud music playing to the very young crowd. Would not stay here again. Sad, as we were really looking for a great experience especially at the cost they charge. Have stayed at 3 & 4 star with better setups than this. However the cleanliness of room and hotel was impeccable, and bed extremely comfortable. Staff at desk, great. Staff at bar, not so great. Desired to support this property, but so less than ever could imagine for a 5 star. We guess if money is no object, the experience doesn't matter, but for us, $$$$$$$ do matter. Check out the Renwick. Far more worth the experience 😊if you can get a reservation!
This place is all about whether not you are expecting a 5 star hotel that would be comparable to the Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton brand. If you are, then this will only disappoint you. My advice, don't go here. Two issues - the rooms don't look clean, they were dusty, the bathroom was not cleaned properly any of the 4 days i stayed there. I had to call down for soap, towels, a shower cap! Just the basics. Eventually the manager came to look and agreed that it was unsatisfactory. The bed was old and saggy, when i asked reception about this they just said all the Trump beds are really soft. There is a Soft bed and then there is bed which has two body shaped valley's in them...this bed was old. The second and probably biggest issue at Trump is the staff. They seem to think they are doing you a favour. More than once a staff member pushed past me in either the lobby or the lift. unheard of at a 5 star property normally. They were rude, short on the phone to me and entirely unpleasant. That goes all the way through the property. Breakfast i had through room service each day was also sub-par.. you don't expect old bruised strawberries on your fresh fruit plate. And please explain why in 2017 you are paying $14.95 per day for wi-fi..

Was very disappointed that the room was not the one as shown on the booking or as I expected for the price paid. We paid for a higher room for a better view but the windows were not as big as they had implied and the settee covered the bottom half of window so could not see view from the bed. Had to ask neighbours to turn tv down as it was quite loud
The Trump SoHo has become our favorite place to stay in the city...we love the location and the property and people are phenomenal...not missing a thing. We consider it a value due to room size and views.
