The Dominick Hotel

Great service, rooms are large but you can tell it needs a rebrand. In house restaurant out of business. Staff could not be nicer they just need a new brand.

My husband and I have been staying at this same location for more than a decade, since it was the Trump Soho. The last couple of years we have noticed the aging of this hotel. These past 4 nights we commented on the drawers that don’t close properly, sagging wallpaper and lack of charging ports among the outdatedness of this property. It seems in dire need of a remodel. We pay about $1000 per night and am not sure we can justify just the amazing staff, care and location any longer. FYI we had a broken refrigerator and reported this 3xs before a spare fridge was brought to our room. Not what is to be expected at what was once such an exceptional hotel.

My mother and I had an absolutely fabulous stay! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. Our room was beautiful, the service was wonderful, and we truly appreciated the wine and all of the thoughtful special touches that made our visit feel extra special. A special thank you to Leidy and the entire team for making our stay so memorable. I would also like to recognize Stanley, the doorman, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. He went out of his way to assist us with directions and recommendations and was such a pleasure to speak with. Our room attendant, Maria, was also exceptional. She took wonderful care of our room throughout our stay, and we greatly appreciated her attention to detail and excellent service. The genuine hospitality we experienced throughout our entire stay truly stood out. We left with wonderful memories and would absolutely return. Thank you to Leidy, Stanley, Maria, and the entire team for making our visit such a fantastic experience!

An exceptional hotel with an excellent location; the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, and every request of ours was handled perfectly. Truly one of the best hotels we have ever visited—highly recommended. At the front desk, we were assisted by a staff member named Mohendra, who provided excellent service; we asked to check into our room early due to our very early arrival and to check out late because of a night flight, and every request was met perfectly and with a smile.

We stayed for 5 nights at The Dominick, and everything was really great (except for the elevator system, which we hear is being replaced--thankfully!). The room was a good size and we appreciated the additional sink at the bar section, the surrounding SoHo neighborhood was fabulous, and the food at Mezzanine was very tasty. We had great attentive service by the maids on our floor, as well as the staff at the Mezzanine. A special shout-out to Tanvir, who provided friendly and excellent service during our daily breakfast. He suggested tasty breakfast options and was very efficient whenever we asked for honey, extra butter, etc. We will be back at The Dominick and will suggest it to friends. Thank you for a great stay!
