Reviews for The Dominick Hotel

Very good stay!

Love location. Rooms are a bit tired. Mattresses too worn and soft. Staff is terrific. Food in resturant was very good. Elevators are challenging. Too tight on lobby level.

Ok visit.

Your staff is first class! Best ever. Our suite however was in need. Beautiful layout, but the carpet was in big need of cleaning. It appeared to have fresh stains and one appeared to be blood. Also it was my understanding that the elevators were in the process of being fixed. It was a bad system. Food and drinks were delicious. Staff in the restaurants we’re fantastic. I would definitely stay here again. I would however decline the $50 a day Internet. Ridiculous.

Wait staff needs training on service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

Front desk, doormen, and cleaning staff were fantastic. Very friendly, accommodating, and professional. Rooms were very nice and clean. The service at the mezzanine restaurant, and pool lounge was not so great. We had to ask for refills on drinks, ask for our bill so we could pay or charge to the room, no quality check was done once the food was dropped, and it was fairly pricey for poor service. I would have expected much more. Despite this I would absolutely stay here again I just wouldn't eat here. The elevators were quite the journey, long wait times, depending on the time of day you were attempting to access them.

Sub par for the money! Older rooms with issues

Room was over priced, toilet was broke and ran all night and the carpet was old and stained. The closet door swung open and was broke and light would turn on.

Not a top choice for a Hotel in New York

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

I would not recommend the Dominick Hotel for several reasons. The elevators are horrible. You can sometimes wait 10 to 15 minutes for an elevator to arrive on your room floor. At one point, we had to take the service elevator to get to the lobby to meet our Uber. The pool is small and the pool deck overcrowded. You have to get there early to get a lounge chair and there were only 2 umbrellas. The bed was too soft. The housekeepers were friendly and helpful.
